WOW! Food was pretty good, but service was the epitome of horrible! Visiting from the U.S. with 2 of my other colleagues. Walked in and were asked if we had a reservation, we didn’t and I believe that annoyed them from the beginning. We got seated at a 4 top and the 3 of us took our seats. My colleague was then asked to move to a different seat because he was too close to one of the other tables. (when NO ONE else was even in there!). Then the waitress was reluctant to even explain the menu to us. After we knew how to order, we barely saw her after that. Another colleague joined us and received the same poor treatment (and he was apparently in the seat that was too close to the next table). Everything we needed we asked other servers for. She kept looking at our table to make sure we ate every piece because she was looking for a way to charge us extra (all you can eat sushi, if you don’t finish you get charged). We had to stop her in her path in order to get a check. WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Itoshii is one of those «all you can eat» sushi places. It was the first of such places in Hoofddorp. The places has a very simple, basic «oriental» style décor with small square tables. If you are planning to go for a dinner on Thursday, Friday, Saturday night make sure that you make a reservation as it always seems quite full. The all you can eat options are pretty standard and comparable to other places, price for the set menu is also comparable to other establishments. Service is always very good and food is delivered quite quickly. The only drawback is that if you go with a bigger group then the tables get pretty small for all of the orders.

I’ve been there several times. Never been disapointed. The food is really good and you can eat as much as you can. very good value for your money. The only thing i dislike in this restaurant is the noise. It’s not a place for a romantic diner.

Very nice place. Fixed price all you can eat for 16 Euro for lunch and 23 Euro for dinner… drinks separate.
The choice of Sushi-​mi, Sushi, tempura and more rolls, widgets and midgets is very very ample!
Service is fast and nice. The atmosphere is essential Japanese style… quite new.
I was there for lunch… would not be around Hoofddorp during the evening.
One negative was the smell of food on my clothes when I got out of the place. which is quite unusual for a Japanese place… do not like that.
