Extremely poor service, we were ignored when we came in, and had to wait for menue and drinks, until the waitress decided it was time to stop texting on her phone.
She neither spoke Norwegian nor English well enough to understand what «tap water» was, and was generally quite rude and unhelpful.
The food came out after only about 2 minutes, which is nice, but it made me think that it wasn’t freshly prepared, but only reheated.
My boyfriend’s food was still acceptable (he had some sort of scampi dish), the chicken I ordered, however, was inedible. I ordered the «kung pao gai» and it was completely unlike any kung pao chicken I’ve had before. The sauce was sickening and the chicken literally tasted like cat food. It also looked completely different from what the menue suggested (there are some pictures of the food in the menue).
I asked the waitress if she’d maybe ordered the wrong food for me, but she didn’t seem to understand my question and just left without properly answering, and completely ignoring my request to take the food back.
I will defenitely not be coming back, and I absolutely don’t recommend this place.
Also: even though it says «Chinese food and pizza» on their door, they don’t offer pizza.

Excellent food, excellent service and great value for money!
Tucked away from the beaten path this place is a welcome change from European food and Norwegian prices.
The menu is pretty elaborate. Great selection of Chinese dishes… also Pizza!!!
Only thing missing is a bar. No beer or wine or any type of alcohol available.
The food makes up for it though…

I read about this place in TripAdvisor (I’m a little confused as to why the Qype reviews say it’s a bar … because it’s not.) It’s Chinese food located very near the main park in central Bergen and it’s got good Chinese food for low prices (in Norway at least.)
I ordered the noodles with chicken and vegetables for 98 NOK. While the portion was small and I was satisfied but not full, the flavor was actually good. It’s not authentic Chinese (though I noticed the chefs are all Chinese and based on what they cooked for themselves, are perfectly capable of cooking authentic Chinese food) but it’s good Chinese and it tastes Chinese without making you feel all icky and oily afterwards. What’s to complain? I love it.
tldr; good Chinese food at a «cheap”/affordable price. portions could be bigger, but you’ll be at least be not hungry when you’re done

Vier Sterne gibt es für freundliche Bedienung, nicht ganz so teure Preise und leckere Sauce. Das Huhn war etwas zäh, was man aber auch als Kaumuskeltraining gelten lassen kann.

War im Urlaub Mittags im Hot Wok City. Das Essen war okay und hat seinen Zweck erfüllt.
