Sometimes parents need a good McDonald’s and for me, this is the best. They have a wonderful play area upstairs that keeps my kids entertained and active for 30 to 60 minutes! So, yes, we eat some junk food, but the kids get to move around afterward and I get to spend time actually having a quiet conversation with my husband. McDonald’s does has some healthy choices now, too. They have wraps, salads, grilled items as well as fruit packs for the Happy Meals. Frankly, used properly, you can actually teach kids good eating habits here. As in, if you want a dessert have fruit instead of fries and water instead of soda. Better to teach them how to navigate real world situations than to just make it all forbidden until they’re adults. And the coffee and cake at the McCafe is really good. Sometimes you just want a quick coffee and a place for your kids to play. This place fits the bill.
