durchschnittliches Hotel im 3. Bezirk, teilweise 80er Charme, unspektakuläres Frühstück, saubere Zimmer und eine Indoor-​Golf-​Anlage im Keller

Quite an cool hotel concept.
This is a review however of the golf simulators only.
There are 4 seperate screens and simulators and they are top notch. Pretty decent simulation of «real» golf with the added bonus of being out of the elements. A great way to golf in the winter, almost as good as being on a windswept links with howling wind and stinging rain trying to find you ball in the waist high rough. But I digress.
It’s not cheap however but the info you get (launch angle, club speed, before and after club angle etc.) is priceless. You have a n immediate report on your swing and can therefore see what went wrong (as if a 90 degree slice is not indication enough) or more often what went right!
So on to the downsides.
There is no real way of accurately simulating the rough so you get a much better score than you normally would because every lie is perfect.
Also the courses advertised on the website do not appear on the simulator. This may however be a short term problem as the centre is pretty new.
For a decent work at your driving and long game this is an incredibly useful tool but you do need to save up some money to use it often.

Unser Zimmer war sauber und man hat alles was man braucht. Einen tollen Ausblick kann man in der Gewerbegebietsumgebung zwar natürlich nicht erwarten, aber dafür kommt man ja auch nicht hier her.
Gym, Sauna und Außenpool sind für Hotelgäste kostenlos und im Sommer auch die Indoor-​Tennisplätze (10 Stück). Es gibt auch eine Indoorgolfmaschine und Solarien, die wir allerdings nicht ausprobiert haben. Tennisschläger kann man sich für 4 € ausleihen, wobei es leider nicht wirklich gute Schläger sind… aber es reicht für Hobbyspieler sicher aus. Man kann auch für 50 € Tennisstunden nehmen.
Das Personal ist gemischt, manche äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, andere mittelmäßig begeistert bis gestresst wirkend.
Man erreicht das Hotel per Fuß von U-​Bahn und Tram in ca. 8 Minuten und man hat erstaunlich gute Restaurants in der Umgebung.

Aufgrund eines Kundentermins in Hotelnähe haben meine Beraterkollegen und ich im Vienna Sporthotel übernachtet. Das Hotel ist gemütlich eingerichtet und besonders für Sportreisende aber auch für Geschäftsleute geeignet. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und das Bad bietet alles was man braucht. Das Frühstück reicht um einen guten Start in den Tag zu haben, eine große Auswahl bietet es allerdings nicht. Das Hotel hat Tennisplätze, ein Fitnessstudio und computersimulierte Indoor-​Golfplätze. All in all ist es für eine günstige Übernachtung zu empfehlen.

Viel kann ich nicht über das Sporthotel sagen.
Wir saßen nur in der Hotelbar, ein kleines Bier nach dem Sport trinken.
Unseren Bezahlwunsch hat man dann geflissentlich eine halbe Stunde lang ignoriert, was kein sehr guter Service ist.
Deshalb nur ein Stern, was natürlich über sonstige Qualitäten des Hotels nichts aussagt.

Sitzen seit 20Minuten rum! Rechnung kommt nicht, Bedienung ignoriert uns!
