Yoi Restaurant

Quite a good, cheap option, especially for lunch menus.

Ich zitiere den Vorgänger «nichts weltbewegendes aber macht satt». genau so ist es.
Musste ebenfalls feststellen, dass jeder andere Lieferservice größere und bessere Makis anbietet, weshalb dieses Restaurant im Vergleich, leider nicht so gut abschneidet.
Habe bisher immer nur Makis und Sushi gegessen — hier eben das Fazit solala.
Negativ aufgefallen ist mir leider auch die Besitzerin des Lokals — auf meinen Versuch mir 2 Servietten und 2 Paar Stäbchen mitzunehmen, wurde ich angemotzt, dass pro Person nur 1 Paar Stäbchen mitzunehmen sei.

I would give food a 3.5, but a 4 for the added kindness from the owners. We joined after a climbing session nearby and we didn’t notice they were close to closing. In any case they welcomed us and we stayed over an hour after close! The food was good, maybe too big of a menu, but don’t have the plum wine (umeshu) as it wasn’t good (they warmed it up which is never a good sign). For the area, they are top notch!

The owner is an Chinese couple. They are nice and ready to cook at any special request for our son (not on the menu). We eat dinners here for a week. My son loves the duck, the salmon, the vegetable coming with every dish. I think it is a nice place to have some veg, rice. noodles for a child, after large potion of meats in other Vienna restaurants.

I really liked this place: The food (thumbs up for the cook), the friendly waitress, the comfy room, the fair prices… and the absence of tourists!
A nice Japanese couple is running this restaurant: He cooks, She waits at tables.
And it is going great!
They serve a true and generous Japanese cuisine, with starters, dim sums (yummi!), noodles and rice dishes, wok, maki sushi… and seriously it tastes really, really good.
You can tell it’s freshly made, the veggies were perfectly cooked and the meat was so tasty! They have desserts too, but to be honest I was so filled I didn’t even have a look ^^
Their menu offers a lot of formulas like bento boxes (very generous!), or menu with starters + a dish + maki sushis,…
It’s quite cheap honestly for the quality and quantity you get!
They also get a weekly menu offering some alternative to the daily customers :)
A friend of mine lives in the neighborhood and eats there at least once a week (up to 3 times a week lol). I finally got to come along: and I understand why she loves it! I will definitely be back…
