A nice hotel out of the city centre of Krakow. It’s very modern, the staff are nice and the hotel is very clean. The bed is comfortable and the room is spacious. There is a gym and sauna on the basement floor and a restaurant by the reception. For the middle of winter I found the rooms a little cold, as did many others in the group we were with and the water in the showers in the mornings were lukewarm. The breakfast is good, plenty of options — yoghurt, fruit, veges, breads and cereals, cold meats, juices etc. The dinner menu is ok. There aren’t a huge number of options and while we were a reasonably big group — 9 people –the food took an hour and a half to come out. When it did finally come out the meals were cold! We certainly weren’t impressed with that. You also have to get up and order drinks from the bar rather than ordering from a waiter, but I guess you can’t expect too much from a hotel restaurant. Overall it was a decent stay and I’d choose Hotel Apis again but I probbly wouldn’t eat at the restaurant.
