When I first moved to Krakow, this place was my only resort to finding minor electrical devices such as a sim card, hair dryer, the odd power cord and UK-Europe adapters et cetera. It was all good until the day I wanted to buy more elaborate things such as a new battery for my laptop and a Soda Stream machine as a birthday gift to my friend and it turned out that they don’t stock the former and could not provide me with a brand new model of the latter(only the product that was on display with a worn out/broken packaging!). So about the Soda machine, I asked whether they would receive new stock any time soon and was told to come back in a few weeks time which I thought was fair enough. Upon my return I found the same product with the same packaging only with additional fingerprints and an extra tear on the box. Contacting the staff again I was told that they could not order a single item upon request and was given tram directions to another shop outside the city centre which«might» have a similar product. I also find that they have generally slightly higher prices. I found my current Samsung tablet+accessories at a better rate a few shops down the corridor of Saturn at Galeria Krakowska… So fair enough, if all you need is to pick up a new sim card or headphones that you will blast in 6 months time anyway then there’s nothing wrong with getting it from Saturn, just don’t count on that the staff will go out of their ways to give you what you’re searching for!
