A sculpture of a dragon, Smok Wawelski the most important dragon in polish folkstories. Smok Wawlski breathes fire every 5 minutes, or when you message SMOK to 7168. (we didn’t know about the SMS possibility nor that it breathes fire every 5 mintues we thought it was just random and were desperately waiting to catch a picture of the fire, haha).

Legend has it that Krakus, a Polish prince, founded Krakow after slaying a dragon on this spot. Go to it from Wawel Hill as you descend a spiral staircase before coming out by the river to see the dragon.
Be patient with the dragon though, it only breathes fire every few minutes.
