Very nice place. Delicious pulled pork sandwich — juicy meat with barbecue sauce, with coleslaw(although the slaw could have more crunch but I’m just being picky). Decent fries, very good split pea mash as well. They also have English Sunday dinner(guess what — served on Sundays ;-)), which I definitely need to try. If only they had more beers to choose…. But over I’m a fan.

Friendly place, excellent ale on draft, the fish and chips was delicious(and the small was more than enough for me). Wife had the Pad Thai which was also tasty. Very inexpensive, totally worth a visit.

It’s hard to ask for anything more… The Dorsz has a great selection of well prepared seafood and other English specialty food like… Chips… The portion sizes are huge for the prices, so don’t feel apprehensive about ordering the smaller versions!

Took my polish team out for some English fish and chips. We all had fish, chips and mushy peas. The chips were nice and crispy and the fish with a lovely crispy thin layer of batter. A very pleasant meal and a great introduction to the team for English fish and chips :)

What more can the Englishman living abroad want? A real taste of home, genuine chip shop flavours, malt vinegar for the chips(unheard of in Poland), curry sauce available and the perfect ending of sticky toffee pudding. There are other things on the menu but who cares, if I wanted something else I would be eating somewhere else.

I like the Dorsz and I am planning to eat my fish and chips in there… and speak English and meeting my friends. It is Restaurant with English fried food… There are 2 levels and is spacious overall. Service is really nice and helpful, although couple of times they did not have rose wine. Except that is comfy and safe in there. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.

Dorsz is as authentic as it gets for fish and chips in Kraków. Located just opposite the salad-bar Chimera in the centre, the restaurant has a very warm feeling. Their menu designed as per the London Tube map can get a bit confusing if you aren’t sure what you’re looking for. They screen games and have a children play area too. The portions used to be really large in the beginning but now they have scaled it down a bit. They have started a daily set lunch with a different menu(non fish and chips) everyday.

The Dorsz is a resto-bar that specializes in fish n’ chips. The place has two levels. The top part is the restaurant part – more like a bistro, I would say. The cellar is where the bar is situated. It has a large chamber and a smaller antechamber. Here’s where many Unilocal events are organized. It’s one of the better places in town to hang out when you’re a big group. Unlike most cellar bars, the Dorsz is well lit. You can actually make out a face ten feet from you. The availability of food is another advantage. I’ve eaten here on several occasions. The food was always well made. The ingredients were fresh and the portions large. It was a bit too British for my taste though. I had the distinct feeling that I was eating someone else’s comfort food.

This restaurant serves excellent, authentic British-style fish and chips, in proper batter with malt vinegar and curry sauce available if that’s what takes your fancy. Despite being right off the main market square prices are very reasonable. The downstairs area(with bar and large projector) is a nice cosy area, fantastically lit. They have recently broadened their menu to include non fish and chip options. They do a great apple crumble here too. When they start doing full English breakfasts and serving real cider(rather than apple-flavoured beer) then you’ll have trouble keeping me away from this place.
