For an overnight trip into Krakow, this was a convenient place to stay: Walking distance to restaurants and other attractions, quality breakfast is included in the cost, well-maintained common living areas … and all at an affordable price point. Must rave about the food! - I know it’s not the most important part of the lodging experience BUT it was definitely one of my highlights. There were a few different combos on the menu, not just the typical continental breakfast one would see at an American hotel. What needed to be made on the spot was done so to be the best quality(see below) and what could be picked up on the go was on buffet table(fruit, tea, cereal, etc.). I went with ordering the Village Breakfast, which included all the fixings for my fav traditional Polish sandwiches: a warm rye roll; savory cottage cheese mixed with chives, red onion and dill; freshly sliced cheese and ham; and thinly sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. Lounging around — Next to our hotel room was a swanky little living room with flat screen TVs and leather couches, separated by clear glass doors. It truly helped to have this extra space because … Pinching pennies — My group of four(me, husband, husband’s sister and husband’s brother-in-law) actually crammed ourselves into a two-twin bed room. The hotel OK’ed this, which is unusual, so we took the opportunity.(Remember, we only stayed a night!) We honestly are all super low-maintenance, but it did help to have divider walls between the bathroom, closet and bed areas to allow for some more«private» spaces within the entire room. And, keep in mind there is no air conditioning in the rooms, as most affordable European hotels usually are.
