We went there on a Saturday, and was welcomed by a large group of people trying to pick a fight. Security didn’t seem to care, so I would definitely avoid this place.

Great bar. I love the art on the walls and the ceilings (!). The ladies restrooms are awesome, I have never seen anything like that before. Best bar ever.

Having a Polish girlfriend, I often visit Lodz and when I do, Kaliska is the best place we go for a night out.
Situated in the city centre, in an alley off Piotrkowska Street Kaliska has different levels for different tastes, with the music being different on each. It’s also got an outdoor terrace which is great. The bar’s really cool with loads of great arty pics up on the walls.
When you leave and you’ve got the munchies, there’s a pizza restaurant next door and if you fancy a kebeb, Piotrkowska has loads of kebab restaurant too.
I just hope that one day Poland will catch up with the smoking ban that we have here (UK) as all my clothes stink after a night out there!

It’s a fantastic place with character, really worth popping in.
The interior design is very intersting, looks a bit like Tardis, a combination of weird futurism with an old fashioned industrial revolution vibe to it.
It’s usually quite crowded at weekends but the crowd is definitely friendly and sociable. Great place to taste Zubrowka with apple juice.
If you haven’t been there yet, don’t miss out, pay the place a visit.

This is absolutely amazing place. One of the best place in the city of Lodz. Located on the main street Piotrkowska.
It is believed to be the most avant-​garde pub/​club in Poland. Its décor is unusual. You feel so different and almost magic in that place. It is a perfect combination of arts, architecture, music and photography. Concerts of great musicians take place there. Staff serve alcohols from all over the world, so everyone finds something nice to drink! It is unique place! You HAVE to visit this Lodz Kaliska!
