It is the very best chocolate experience one would like to have. I do not mean streamlined «Milka» chocolate. Hot chocolate is really lots of chocolate. Fine pralines are topping the offers.
The prices are high — just like in Vienna or Berlin. But the quality is even better.

The «Pijalnie Czekolady E. Wedel» is one of the best places in the world for hand-made chocolate, ice cream, hot chocolate, truffles, and the like. The «Pijalnie Czekolady E. Wedel» can easily compete with the top-chocolatières in Brussels, Paris or Barcelona — it’s just that at Wedel’s it’s much, much cheaper.
Situated on the main square of the beautifully refurbished Manufaktura Łódź, the place is ideal to relax from the hustle-bustle of the town. Try one of their vast home-made choice hot chocolates — and don’t miss out on their ice-cream. The place is also good to buy presents (not so easy in Łódź) for friends and family.
