Karczma Siedlisko

This is one of the best traditional Polish restaurants in the world. Worth a really long drive — and you need to be really hungry, since all of the meals are really big. What makes this place special? A lot of things:
— food is exceptional. Always fresh, always tasty, always special, made out of best local ingredients. The menu is not very long, but there’s no chance you can try everything. Presentation of the food is excellent as well, it is being served on the world famous, hand made Boleslawiec pottery.
— the place looks very nice. Old, wooden house well restored, you eat surrounded with wooden art forms made by some local artist — and a fireplace. And a playground for kids in the garden — and the pond, where the fishes live.
— service is excellent as well. You are being waited by really beautiful women dressed in local, traditional dresses, the whole combination is just excellent.
At the beginning I mentioned, that the place is worth a long drive. It’s not entirely true — it’s actually worth a flight. I mean it. I visit this place every singe time I drive by — for last ten years or so. And believe me, it’s by no means easy to please me — yet they managed.
