Weranda never disappoints!
I have been coming here since the first year of my studies, which was over a decade ago!!! And this place still stands tall and strong.
The rotating seasonal menu always offers something tempting and I like that they are really solid on presentation. You cannot go wrong with a salad or a baguette here.
But let’s be honest, what makes Weranda unique is the interior. Incredibly cosy, almost girly, yet still appropriate for a date or family brunch. The HANDMADE decoration, changing with the season, is always inventive, beautiful and artistic.
In the summer, do check their cosy backyard!
Weranda will always have a special place in my heart, as it witnessed many happy and not so happy meet ups throughout my student life. It’s fantastic that it is still there, after so many years in business! That speaks for itself!
Will definitely be back for another memorable encounter!

Weranda Café has a beautiful interior, delicious drinks and average food.
It’s an absolutely relaxing place to take a date or to chill out for drinks.

Charming place with lovely décor and a fantastic breakfast menu. You have to wait awhile so it’s not for people in a hurry but worth it. Very tasty food and beautifully presented. I strongly recommend it.

This is a lovely little place just off the Market Square. Extremely hipster and extremely cool. The food here is not traditional polish or transitional at all, but tasty and worth the visit.
If you are getting a bit sick of the meat and cabbage of Poland, this is a nice refreshing break. They serve little and healthier options. I came here for breakfast and got the Weranda special. And it is was great, cream cheese with salad.
Also the coffee here is quite good — not as good as other places, but for this close to the Square it is quite awesome.

Really lovely little place. It’s called Green Veranda and while the interior is nicely decorated, the real highlight is the little yard. Breakfast is really good, too!

Viel netter und individueller als die Cafés mit ihren 08/​15-​Longemöbeln auf dem Alten Markt um die Ecke. Die Karte ist riesig, das Angebot aber trotzdem frisch und lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen.
