Bobby Burger

I had a Cheeseburger combo with french fries. It wasn’t too expensive — just 19PLN for the set.
The place is conveniently located, near the city centre. It’s spacy inside and looks like it’s part of a chain.
Now on the meal itself… Could be better. While the french fries were nice (chrunchy outside and soft inside, with a touch of spice), the beef was mediocre at best. It wasn’t juicy at all, just like an ordinary cutlet. For what it’s worth, it looks nice — better than it tastes. Since it’s a burger bar — and the flagship meal is unimpressive, I can only give 3 stars.

De bons petits burgers, dans un coin sympa et animé de Varsovie. idéal après avoir bu un verre du côté de Pawilony ! Pas exceptionnels (le pain est trop croustillant, les frites pas incroyables), mais qui gagneraient à être perfectionnés.
Le service est rapide et les plats à moindre frais.

We were at a party next door where the food seemed to run out, leaving use with only a couple of pieces of bread. So we stepped next door and had a Bobby Burger. It was delicious! I love burgers anyway but this one was excellent as well as the beer we had with it.

This burger place is in a cool area that has very close to it lots of bars and restaurants. The interior of it was nice and its idea is to serve higher quality burgers than any of the regular fast food places, but still be cheap and fast.
As an idea I think it’s good. I just expected a bit higher quality. The fries were barely salted and were those frozen types that don’t taste much. The burger was just ok. The bun was the type you would buy in a super market (low quality bread), so it was not so good, while the meat was ok. And the result as a whole was average.
The good thing was they have outdoor seating which I myself favour a lot and the service was very friendly. The names of the burgers were in English so it was easy to order but the guy was quite confused as he was not so good in English. Despite that we managed to order and get what we ordered!

Good burgers and… that’s it. Nothing more. Buns are probably the weakest link of the whole equation. French fries are not the strongest point of BB. Since the burgers are so big and messy I definitely do not recommend this place for lunch. The service can be very long for a burger joint.
Try the goat cheese burger though, it’s fantastic for the price it costs.

Meh, is how I would sum up this place. Certainly NOT the best burger in Warsaw. It wouldn’t even make it to my top 10 list. The perks here are: it’s well located — in the center, it’s open till 1 am. Surrounded by dozens of bars in the area, this place is best suited for soaking up all the alcohol consumed earlier. And for that alone it’s a decent choice. I wouldn’t come back here any other time of the day.
