Truthfully, I am not the biggest kebab fan. I wish there was a decent gyro place around Warsaw. However, that being said, I really do like Efes. I have had their kebab and it was delightful. Truly the best one I’ve had in Warsaw. Also, I have had a meal which was not wrapped up in a sandwich and it was also very good. Sadly I cannot recall what it was — but it was listed as a kebab, so I was kind of shocked when it didn’t come in a wrapped sandwich form. The first time I went, I arrived at closing time and they gave us the left overs for our sandwich. Even for it being the left over meat, I would say it was the best kebab in Warsaw. We dined in(which looking back, that was not super nice of us) and the atmosphere was cozy — almost like a traditional Slavic grandmothers home. The second I went in the afternoon, the meat was fresher and was still very good. I took it home. The portion was large enough to share — but I made two meals out of it! They speak a little English so that is helpful. They do have menus in English as well. So point and say big/small and they will understand. The location is a little out of the way for my liking, but it is still accessible through the bus lines.

First good kebab place in Warsaw. Not sure if it’s still that good as it used to be, but if you’re in Warsaw and want to try kebab from local pioneers this is the place to go. One of the first places to actually serve lamb kebab, instead of just chicken or chicken mix.
