Elite is a book store close to plac Zawiszy (two tram stops from the Central Station) that specializes entirely in Spanish books. Here you’ll find a broad range of literature written by Spanish authors, Spanish translations of non-​Spanish books, short stories written in an easy-​to-​understand Spanish for kids, tweens and teens as well as textbooks for children learning Spanish.
The book store is made up of two rooms filled with books. The owner (I think) sits in the backroom and is extremely helpful — as is the guy who stands behind the counter is the first room.
I would never have found this bookstore if it hadn’t been for my boss who speaks the language fluently and wanted to buy a couple of age-​appropriate easy-​to-​understand books in Spanish for her sons. I was highly impressed by the fact that everyone was so helpful and friendly.
Unfortunately, I don’t speak Spanish so I won’t become a returning customer but if you do and want to maintain your lingo skills by reading Spanish books — this is definitely the place for you!
