What a cute place to grab lunch. As I understand, it has a bit of a history and is operating since 1954, although was just renovated. It’s nothing fancy, just an awesome home-​made/​comfort food. The renovation was done with style, and makes it look neat and cozy. The menu is written on chalk board and changes daily. Pierogi and nalesniki are their staple dishes and served daily; I tried «Russian» and mushroom and cabbage — 2nd was my favorite. However the best part about this place is its atmosphere. You will see the most eclectic mix of people there — hipsters, fashionistas, students, grandmas, moms with kids — and everyone feels totally comfortable while enjoying their food. For me this is priceless!
