located at a distance from the centre, its a largish café bar and infomal seminar /meeting hall with possibility of organising events for about 50 to 80 people! Or simply catching up with friends over some board games! They have quite a few of those and their menu offers a range of drinks and food.

I totaly do not understand the hype about that place. Bigos I ordered was both tasteless and far from definition of that meal.

Had one of the best meals here when I was I Warsaw. White sausage with potato and apple puré. Delicious!

Hm. I have a hard time understanding the hype around this place. On one hand — sure, they’ve got a ton of boardgames, their menu is interesting(to say the least), the localization is great — but I’m not convinced. For starters, I see no point in having a ton of boardgames if none of them is complete. We played DiXit during our last visit and the cards were mixed up, not all of the numbers were there and some of the cards were just ridiculously worn-out. Additionally, I’ve been told by others that this is a frequent occurence which just makes me sad because what’s the point of playing a boardgame if you can’t play it properly? Secondly, the menu. Apparently it changes every month and I have to say that it’s been a while since I last saw such weird combinations. I was hungry though and so was my boyfriend so I decided to order the only thing on the menu that didn’t seem *too* weird — fried dumpling dough(yes) with green peppercorn sauce. The dumpling dough had the addition of Hungarian preserved bellpeppers and mixed together with the sauce it made for one interesting — and tasty! — culinary experience. But do keep in mind that this is the only position in the menu that I found to be somewhat normal; the rest was just weird and I didn’t feel like taking my chances. Maybe I missed out on something awesome, maybe I didn’t. But I was happy with my order and my boyfriend loved it(though the pepper sauce might have been too spicy for him in the end). I could have overlooked the issues with the boardgames and the menu is interesting albeit very strange, but if there’s one thing I do have a problem with when it comes to this place, it’s the service. The place wasn’t all that crowded, there were three girls working the register yet the service was mediocre and slow at its best. And also — it doesn’t hurt to return a smile. I might come back one day but it won’t be out of my own initiative. The place is okay but like I said — I find it overrated and I can’t understand the hype.

Feel again like a kid! dont be shy and come here with your friends!!! its the best place to stay with your friends during a winter afternoon. Solec 44 has a huge variety of table games, the place is very spacious, so doesn’t matter if you like roll, dices and cards games, i am sure they have something for you here, and also football table! :) :) :) YES! YES! YES! While I was playing, I saw some very good looking dishes, that someone ordered. I didn’t try them, but I no worries, I am sure I will do it, because for sure I will BEBACK!

I adore this restaurant/bar. We went here for a late dinner the first evening we were in Warsaw, and I wish we’d had a chance to go back. The staff were all super friendly, and the bartender translated the entire menu into English for us when we asked her if she had a recommendation. Both the food and the drinks we got were delicious, and the atmosphere was super open and pretty chill. The outside patio area was lovely, and the indoor seating had a different but nice feel as well. The board games were a fun twist that I’ve not seen before, and I really wish we had a place like this in my hometown — I’d definitely be a regular.

Nice place to play board games or to sit and eat, but usually crowdy and not so good to stay for longer.

What a cool spot. According to some folks, this is quite the hipster hangout, but I personally find this to be not a hipster place — it’s down-to-earth, real and not trying to be hip and cool… but it ends up being just that way.(If you know what I mean.) I’ve actually now been here twice and both times I really enjoyed their unusual and interesting beer selection. Back in the summer, I had a beer with raspberry syrup, which I sucked up gently with a straw while enjoying the warm summer breeze on the outside terrace. And just recently — in the complete opposite climate — I drank a warm beer with ginger-honey syrup and some dried apples and prunes. Alright, it may not sound too tasty, but actually it is.(Although I was not brave enough to venture out to the warm-beer-with-condensed-milk concoction ;-) Aside from the unusual beer selection, they also have a good dining option here. According to a knowledgeable Warsawian, their chef here is on it’s way to become a celebrity chef in his own right. And…once you’ve eaten and drunk like a king or queen, you might as well ask your friends to join in on one of the many fun board games that they have here.

I love this place. Great food, always something new, made with only the best ingriedients. Great beer selection. They also make their flavored syrops, which they use to make lemonade or add to drinks. This is one of my favorite culinary spots in Warsaw. During the weekends, they also have parties in the evening.
