Seriously… Nothing special … The food was very average, our pizza was just fine. The service was just ok … I don’t think I’ll be coming back here…

A very authentic Italian cuisine, different style of pizza’s i havnt eaten anywhere with a big live kitchen in the middle of the restaurant makes the experience of eating more enjoyable. I have been there couple of times and this time around i want to try something different than the pizza and took di-mare its a prawn/octopus salad and was really good, the only downside was that the portion was bit too small as i would expect this to be main course, enjoyed it with martini. You surely will need a reservation as it is always full, and if u walk in, chances are u will need to wait for 15 – 20 min. While waiting for my table i tried crudo, which is a entrée dish, would recommend it, and ended my night with a nice budino. My favorite pizza is Diavola do try it if you are there next time.

I loved this place as the food is phenomenal and authentic Italian. Simple dishes like the seafood mix as a starter, focaccia and the infamous margherita pizza from the wood fired oven can make this dining experience a really good choice during a weekend night. I will be back.

First at all i like the name which is translated«Flour and Water». The restaurant is in the center of Warsaw and easy to reach. It’s positioned in a backyard that brings a calm atmosphere what i appreciate. When entering the restaurant you will be guided to a table and the interior is nice. Inside you can see the huge stone oven. I’ve ordered a pizza and a beer. The pizza is really good. The concept is from naples to Warsaw what they managed quite well. Normally i drink wine in a Italian place, but while i’m beer lover and they got few independent beers i need to drink those. I was there with a friend that have eaten before and just drank a ginger tea. It’s amazing that they were tolerant. I can recommend the place for food, service and location.

Restaurant is always busy, but we found a table later in the evening. Waitress was friendly and service was quick — maybe a little too quick because my pizza was a bit chewy, not crispy which was a pity. They have plenty of wines by the glass, and the atmosphere is young and hip too. Maybe I’ll try pasta next time, unless they learn how to do a proper crispy pizza.

Very slow service and looong waiting for a very standard Pizza… Pros: — nice building and nice interior design — good and fresh products(tomatoes, ham, cheeze…) Cons: — not professional service — Pizza size rather small — Pizza taste: we had 3 different pizzas and they all tasted the same! the tomato sauce and its content was litterally falling appart into the plate and you end up with a wet piece of bred in your hand… Plus the pizza crust was a bit gummy, not crispy as it should be. Not worth the queuing and waiting for a pricey and quickly done pizza.

For starters, they offer free still and sparkling water, which is very unusual if this part of the world. Very good sign for a start. But it was the last good thing during this first and very likely last visit in this place. The service is competent, but the food is terrible. You get a pizza, that is soggy in the middle, the sauce clearly has some artificial taste improving ingredients — overall, the food wise the experience is just terrible. This one of those new, hip places with nothing to offer beyond the hip status place. Don’t bother, it’s not worth it.

I finally came around to try this place, as it was highly recommended by a good friend of mine and a fellow Unilocaler. It took me a little while to find, as it’s not on actual chmelna st, but in the alleyway behind it. It’s was worth looking for though. I came during lunch hours and menu was unfortunately limited. I went with cream of cauliflower soup, margherita pizza and a glass of house wine. Soup was creamy with velvety texture and surprisingly light. Pizza took about 15 min to come out, it’s baked fresh to order. As simple as margherita is — it’s not easy to make right. Dough was the right amount of chewy and slightly yeasty, perfect crispy crust, savory sauce, and fresh mozzarella made this pizza just perfect. I would love to revisit this place for dinner.

Mąka i Woda that is Llour and Water :) If you’re searching for some place to spend a nice time with friend or eat a good lunch you can choose this restaurant. Mąka i Woda is a great place to come to for a delicious pizza. Atmospohere is nice too: a lot of people, friendly waiters and waitreeses, inside looks very nice, classically, there’s modern décor. Prices here are averange — pizza Diavola(with smoked mozzarella, salami piccante, basil, chilli, permesan) 30PLN. I was here with my firend — we took two pizzas, we’ve been waiting for it less than 15 minutes. After all we were so full up and happy and satisfied. It was my first visit there and I don’t regret. It’s sure I will come here again :)

Took a while for the waitress to take our order, and we had to wave at the staff to come over to our table. However, the appetizers and the salads we ordered were delicious. Simple, fresh, and very flavorous. We did not try their pasta or pizza because I’m gluten intolerant, and they did not have any gluten free options within those types of meals. Therefore a loss of a star in my rating. The portions were big enough. I and my friend shared four appetizers(mozzarella with baked veggies, 2 times their rice balls, and their meatballs). Very modern and clean-looking place hidden in an arch entrance off the beaten path at a shopping street called Chmielna and close to the main street called Nowy Swiat. Their wine was good but not pricey at all. I highly recommend this place instead of falling for the tourist-trapping restaurants at any of the bigger shopping streets, where the food is not the best but definitely more expensive. Our tab ended at 120 Polish zlotys, equaling around $ 38, so $ 19 each. The outdoor seating is very nice, and the seats are protected from possible rain by big umbrellas.
