I was in that place a few times. The food was always good. And of course the wine. I heard rumours that the service become very bad. Unfortunatelly it’s true. So first of all we were 5 people. We waited minimum 15 minutes till some of the waiters could not ignore my penetrating look straight in his eyes and brang the menu. An other 15 min passed till we could order. Pasta with truffles, was so so, starter(zuchinni flour with goat cheese) was sooo disappointing that I don’t even know where to start. First I expected a beautiful flower with some cheese in it. What came? A tempura ball. Looked like shit. No positive effect at all. Then all the ingredients like the sliced tomato pieces, the capers, an undefined mouse and young zuchinnis tasted all the same in that faaaar too strong and dominating sauce. Nothing had it’s own taste. A complete desaster. But what was worse? No one of the waiters came to ask if everything is ok. Nobody did care. What more, the password for the wifi was sooo long and that ridiculous, that even the waiters had a problem to say if it was a small L or a one or if it was a zero or a big Oh. Super stupid situation. Then the deserts, we ordered a few to share were ok. But the time we waited for them was way too long. we already waited 12 minutes till one of us said if they won’t come within 5 minutes we just resign of them. Then they came almost imediatelly. Strange. I was very disappointed. The prices are waaaay to high for such a low quality of food, needles to mention the service.

Classy restaurant on Chłodna with modern European menu with Polish accents, service is good — wine list limited but they have a wine shop upstairs where you can buy what you like. They charge 25zl corkage. I had crispy crab which was just that, then the beef which was cooked just to my liking. Only little thing which spoilt the evening, was the kitchen staff’s percussion concert of dropped lids, smashing oven doors and loud noise but if you want to impress or have a corporate dinner in a stylish yet unstuffy atmosphere — then Winoszefera will do the trick

food is just OK for the expected level of restaurant(i would have given 3 — 3.5 if it was for the food). the reason this goes even lower is how magically items you never ordered get on the bill — when paying 250PLN for a small dinner, one does not really pay attention to additional 30PLN starter that was never ordered, but it still a shame that such happens. no apologies offered either, which concludes to poor overall experience. i have paid a bill in full without drama for invisible starters :), but i wont be bringing more business to this place.

Chose Winosfera Chłodna for a team and client dinner of 11 people consisting of first course, entrée and dessert. It is located a 5 mins walk North and then East from the Hilton Hotel. For seating, you have a choice of regular table and chairs, or high-chairs and a long table. We chose the high chairs to be near the activity of the kitchen. You begin your meal with a guided escort to the adjacent wine shop to choose your diner wine. You are first skillfully guided to the most expensive wines from France. Then a dose of reality. No problem choosing affordable Rutini wines from Argentina, both a Malbec and a Chardonnay. A 25PLN corkage fee is added to the retail price. Totally fair. Everyone found something they liked including one vegetarian guest. Guests chose one of almost everything. House salad was well-made and properly dressed. Entrees of Loin of Lamb, properly cooked, and grilled salmon were especially good. Ice cream dessert is «homemade» and a treat. Cost with wine, including 8% VAT, and 12% service charge, was about $ 75USD per person, a good value for a 3-course meal with wine. Service was attentive. Tip: Ask about prices. Our menu had no prices. We ordered anyway. Avoid surprises and ask.
