Good food for great prices. In a less busy part of albufeira this restaurant is a great place for lunch or dinner. For only 8 euros they have a set menu: bread and butter, soup, choice of different meats and fish, choice of different desserts (chocolate cake is yum). Ow and coffee or tea and a ½ bottle of wine (or a soda). Shrimps are amazing but they don’t always have this. With the plastic furniture outside its not inviting at first sight (and maybe not the most romantic ambiance) but the friendly waitress and food make up for this.
Ps. I just found out the housewine they serve costs an average of 20 euros per bottle. Say whaaat?!

Good wholesome Portuguese cuisine. Fish and beef dishes at a very low price.
We had Fish Cataplana and (thin) Fillet Steak Compadres with the house red (fine). Olives, bread and tuna pâté as cover starters.
Very satisfactory and was recommended by local hotel staff over the many other restaurants in the area. Very reasonably priced.
My daughter was doted over by the Portuguese staff, which is what you expect here.
Just a little back off the road when you get there.
