It is really good and we will probably return. I think it is probably more worth it during the day though when you can see the view of the rocks and the waves. We went for dinner and it was already dark. The fish soup and lobster cream soups were excellent, as well as the couvert azeitão cheese. However, we were surprised to find out that the cheese is 15 €. I am not sure we would eat it again at that price. The waiter said Serpa is much more expensive than Saia for some reason. The bulhão pato clams were also extremely good. I don’t really like octopus in general, but it was unusually tender and flavorful. Other tables were being served full fish cooked in what looked like burning salt. We would probably try that next time.

Fantastic! Group of 7 all from the US our host is local. No tourists — yea! Salty Sea Bass was the best. Views of the ocean and waves crashing against the rocks was nice. Wait staff was wonderful.

Warning! The waiters are working with outside gipsies who approach your table and steal your purse, wallet. We got ripped off by ladies who came to our table on the terrace and after distracting us they took my wife’s purse and ran while the waiters were watching. They didn’t move a finger Stay away and go to Montemar instead

Beautiful scenery and restaurant but a long way from Michelin-quality. First impressions: cold, hard bread. Butter from packets!!! Servers do not come up offering explanations, took a long time for someone to assist us initially, then we had multiple servers assisting us… much confusion in an pretty empty restaurant(2 other tables dining). As for the food, the polvo a lagareiro was incredible, one of the best octopus preparation we’ve ever had. Melt in your mouth tender, very generously poured olive oil. Table-side preparation, wonderfully plated/divided for the 2 of us to share(otherwise it’s a huge entrée for 1 person). Lobster bisque was good, it had chunks of lobster. Spider crab appetizer had great presentation, but not distinctly flavored. Other diners’ whole fish cooked under a salt crust looked fantastic. I would recommend the restaurant if you’re staying near Cascais, but wouldn’t go out of the way from Lisbon to dine here(unless its the middle of summer and you’re looking for a sunset dinner experience).

Great restaurant, very attentative staff. Always somebody around, thinking ahead of what you may need. Fast service if you ask for it. Food excellent quality. Tried the grilled seafood platter. Beautiful oceanside view.
