Terminal de Cascais

This rather funky bus station is right under the Villa Cascais Shopping Center. It is the central destination for the ScottURB buses that run through Cascais, Estoril, Sintra, and Oeiras. With all the buses running through here, the air should be bad, but it’s exposed on two sides to the sea breezes, so that keeps it reasonable. From here one can walk out the way the buses enter, go in the first door on the right, and find oneself in the Cascais Villa. Or take the underground passageway and the inner end of the middle platform, and go to the railroad station. Another exit near there leads to the post office. There’s a toilet (free) in the station, on the side the buses enter. Tickets for your journey can be purchased on the buses.
