Bacalhoeiro

Convém chegar cedo, pois a cozinha fecha as 22h. Comida típica muito bem feita. Ambiente descontraído e casual. Bom custo/​benefício. Como o lugar não é grande, pessoas ficam esperando do lado de fora, mas vale a pena.

Typische portugiesische Gerichte zu einem fairen Preis. Sehr gut besucht und eine eher laute Atmosphäre. Wir hatten aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen und Empfehlungen etwas mehr erwartet, aber die gewählten Fischgerichte waren recht lecker. Der Service war freundlich. Wartezeit einplanen, bevor ein Tisch frei wird.

Good, relatively non-​touristy for being in the center, but I found the cod I had a bit greasy. Staff were nice, relatively good food for a good price.

I would HIGHLY recommend this place! We came for dinner and first thing they did was give us Octopus salad (very good even if you’re not a fish fan like us) and fish croquettes as appetizers. (We didn’t ask for them and they were 3.50 each, but totally worth it). We got the tender loin and were very impressed with how tasty and large the servings were. Very nice service and good price. We had chocolate moose for desert and it was fantastic

Este restaurante é FANTÁSTICO!!! A comida é muito saborosa e tipicamente portuguesa. Gosto sempre de começar pelos pasteis de bacalhau. As espetadas de Lombinhos de Porco com Bacon, são uma das especialidades da casa e que recomendo vivamente, pois as espetadas são acompanhadas com arroz branco e batata frita que é verdadeira (não é congelada) ;) Os vinhos são excelentes, porque oferecem alguma variedade a preços claramente baixos ou acessíveis, comparativamente com os restaurantes tradicionais. O atendimento é extraordinário. Simpático, atencioso, cuidadoso, preocupado e com a frequência, sentimo-​nos que nos tornámos amigos da casa e quase que temos um tratamento especial. No fim, presenteiam-​nos sempre com um cálice de Ginja ;)

Comida muy buena, el arroz que pedimos estaba espectacular, y el servicio del restaurante y el precio final más que aceptables. Lugar totalmente recomendable.

went here while on a short trip to Lisbon and it was awesome. food was great, service was great. Wine was extremely good value for money. Great for a traditional lunch

Ich kann mich den Vorrednern nur anschließen. Klein, gut und günstig. Keine nervigen Typen vor der Tür die einen zum eintreten nötigen.
Kleine Karte. Wir hatten Dorade (goldenen) und die war lecker. Waren mittags hier und haben sofort nen Tisch gefunden. Die Suppe hätte man sich sparen können. Die Bedienung war ok. Hauptsächlich einheimische haben wir hier gesehen. wir kommen wieder!

This is a very nice tipical Portugues restaurant with simple décor. In our case it was exactly the hassle free spot we were looking for. Excellent meat and very good bacelhao for a good price. We ate for € 45 in total: appetizers + 3 main courses + a bottle of wine + a bottle of water. If you want vegetables, order them extra because they don’t really come with the main courses. They have very nice vino verde too. It’s located next to La Licorista and if one is full you can sit in the other.

Das Bacalhoeiro hat sich wohl gut herumgesprochen, wenn man nicht gerade Glück hat, kann man hier bis zu einer Stunde vor der Tür anstehen, also vorher lieber reservieren!
Wir hatten Glück und bekamen direkt einen Platz. Die Karte umfasst hier Fleisch– und Fischgerichte. Ich hatte gegrillten Fisch (8 €), die anderen Steak nach Art des Hauses (10 €), Kalbskotelett (9,50 €) und Rippchen (6,50 €).
Mein Fisch war lecker und alle anderen waren auch mit ihrem Essen zufrieden. Das Steak nach Art des Hauses entpuppte sich als Steak mit einem Spiegelei und einer Kaffeesauce. Hört sich etwas komisch an, hat aber ganz gut geschmeckt. Die sahnige Sauce hatte tatsächlich eine Kaffeenote, die aber gut gepasst hat.
Der Kellner war nett und obwohl draußen schon viele Leute gewartet haben, wurden wir nicht gehetzt und am Ende wurde uns sogar irgendein Getränk aufs Haus angeboten.
Dass die Leute hier abends anstehen, hat also schon einen Grund: das Essen ist gut und dazu noch günstig, was will man mehr :)

Wer Fleisches– oder Fischlust ausleben möchte, kommt hier bei einem Sangria oder Superbock auf seine Kosten. Nichts für empfindliche Mägen. Die sanitären Anlagen laden zum Verweilen ein.

A decent hole in the wall restaurant serving lunches late for tourists like us. Not crowded with tourists really, though hilariously there was a fat guy from new jersey that we overheard talking about basketball while we were there. Just a place to get a good basic bite while you are looking around all the touristy crap in the area at a price that you really can’t complain about.
Look in the handwritten parts of the menu indicating the specials of the day, and make sure to get a carafe of the house wine. Finally, do get the flan, which they appear to make fresh daily and it’s pretty great.
Overall a solid choice for our first meal in Lisbon.

Unilocal showed the restaurant open today (sunday) but unfortunately it was closed. The restaurant owners should keep their Unilocal page up to date to avoid people showing up for nothing. The address was easy to find but the street the rest is on had homeless people on what looked like was their area of living. I felt bad for them and i wish they could be relocated to some shelter. Not sure if they have those in Lisbonn as we saw several homeless people in the area. I am giving 2 stars because of lack of info and iffy street.

Descobri este restaurante por uma colega de trabalho, que me falava constantemente na comida e na simpatia dos empregados. A refeição é caseira, numa mistura de sabores simplesmente deliciosa. O meu prato favorito é pataniscas de bacalhau, que pela sua simplicidade permite perceber se de facto o restaurante que o apresente é de facto bom ou não, numa espécie de teste. Neste caso, o restaurante está completamente aprovado.
Localizado no sítio mais central de Lisboa, tem apenas um ponto negativo a espera por mesa. Felizmente nunca nas minhas incursões sofri deste mal, pois ia bastante cedo no período do almoço.

Fui agradavelmente surpreendida. À partida parecia ser só mais um restaurante igual a tantos outros. Mas nada disso, e sabem porquê? Fui muitíssimo bem recebida, tanto que prometi voltar com alguma frequência.
O espaço é simpático, apesar de não ser muito grande; as refeições são servidas numa única sala. Daquela vez éramos um grupo grande, comemos apertados mas, ainda assim, com conforto. Os pratos são tradicionais e fiéis à cozinha portuguesa (e as doses grandes). Os preços também são bastante convidativos. Do que me lembro melhor foram os licores oferecidos no final, cortesia da casa.

Frente ao famoso Animatógrafo do Rossio, esta casa tem uma localização excelente. Próximo do Metro do Rossio e da Baixa-​Chiado mas num canto sossegado o quanto baste. Ainda assim, é tão conhecida que dificilmente sem reserva se arranja mesa pela hora de almoço. Se como eu forem fãs de boa comida, boas doses e bons preços, esperam um pouco à porta e a coisa resolve-​se…
Depois de lá dentro há que ter em conta a carta pois cada dia tem seus pratos e ainda que todos sejam bons, perdão, muito bons, há sempre a questão do gosto…
A dona Manuela, proprietária, pode sempre aconselhar (e estou certo que o fará) mas ficam as dicas: A costeleta de vitela há todos os dias e não cabe no prato. Pataniscas de bacalhau com arroz de feijão é a quinta-​feira. Se apetecer mesmo muito, a dona Manuela traz mais uma patanisca ou duas. O arroz chega de certeza mas dá vontade de que haja mais, para levar para casa. Polvo à lagareiro, divinal, todas as sextas, com boa batata a murro e um azeite suave…
Quanto a vinhos, há vários mas provem o Monte do Sino ou peçam o da casa que também não ficam mal.
Chegada a hora das sobremesas, outro encanto. O bolo de bolacha é magnifico, o cheesecake fresquissimo, enfim, escolham o que quiserem que ficam sempre bem servidos…
Já lá vou há muitos anos, com família, com amigos, com clientes… Sei que é sempre uma garantia de satisfação.
Nota: o restaurante ao lado é A Licorista e o espaço é partilhado entre eles mas as salas são diferentes assim como a ementa e o serviço. O Bacalhoeiro é a minha escolha. Façam vocês a vossa.

Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in Lissabon: authentisch, qualitativ hervorragend, freundlich, einfach Klasse!

Von vielen empfehlungen im Internet angelockt, fanden auch wir uns in diesem Restaurant ein.
Man hatte echt den Eindruck, dass es fern ab von der klassischen Touristefressmeile es hier ein wenig Portugiesischer zu geht.

Une question se pose dans ce resto, est-​ce parce qu’il est bon marche quil connaît un tel succès auprès de français? Oui je déclare délibérément et assurément que le français en vacances et pingre. Ceci étant dit il y a peut être une autre raison, tout simplement que c’est simple et bon. Ce qu’aiment les français.

Pour féliciter une cuisine exceptionnelle simplement pour reconnaître un lieu convivial qui né se raconte pas des histoires et n’essaye pas de vendre ce qu’il n’a pas.

Wir waren dort wegen der Kritiken auf Qype. Und es hat sich gelohnt. Glücklicherweise haben wir den letzten freien Tisch bekommen.
Das Essen: hervorragend (Lachs bzw. Gegrillter Tintenfisch).
Die Wartezeit: minimal. Und mit dem Sepiasalat wunderbar zu meistern.
Die Preise: unglaublich günstig. Ich kann einen Besuch wärmstens empfehlen

Prendre patience pour avoir une placesi il y a dix minutes d’attente, au final c’est ½ heure.
Carte en français.
Service aimable.
Cuisine de poisson (morue 10EUR, calamar 7EUR, dorade)
Très bon.
Tarifs très abordables.
Desserts 2,5EUR
hummm la crème caramel maison.
PS: si il y a une coupure générale de courant, c’est normal. Cela fait parti du folklore.

Obwohl von mehreren Quellen empfohlen leider nicht so berauschend. Das Steak nach Art des Hauses entpuppte sich als zähes Stück Fleisch in einer Sauce aus Kaffee. Einziges Highlight (haha) war das zweimal der Strom im Laden ausfiel. Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich.

In Lissabon ist es schwierig, landestypisches Essen in guter Qualität zu einem vernünftigen Preis zu bekommen. Ich habe daher jemanden, den ich vom Couchsurfing kannte, gefragt. Ich sollte also zum Bacalhoeiro gehen. Als ich vor dem Restaurant stand habe ich mir gedacht: Hier hätte ich nie, nie, nie, niemals hergefunden und wenn doch, wäre ich nie, nie, nie, reingegangen.
Bei meinem ersten Besuch wurde ich wieder weggeschickt. Es war nämlich nach 22 Uhr; da darf man zwar noch sitzen bleiben, aber die Küche hat bereits Feierabend.
Also kam ich wieder. Und es hat sich gelohnt. Ich mußte ca. 5 Minuten auf einen der ca. 10 Tische warten. Der Chef war sehr freundlich und sehr geduldig. Er spricht übrigens nur ganz wenig englisch, bemüht sich aber redlich.
Nun zum Essen: Es war, kurz gesagt, megageil. Ich hatte ein Lachssteak vom Grill mit Kartoffeln und Salat (siehe Foto). Der Fisch war gut gewürzt und superlecker. Nach diesem Teller war ich dicke satt, und gekostet hat mich das Hauptgericht 6,80 EUR. Die Cola, die man oben links im Foto noch erahnen kann, kostete 1,50 EUR, und so hatte ich zusammen mit einer Vorspeise eine Rechnung von 10,80 EUR. Wohlgemerkt: Downtown Lissabon!
Als ich im Restaurant saß, habe ich auch mal die anderen Teller angeschaut, und alles sah sehr lecker und reichhaltig aus. Die Wartezeiten waren durchweg ok, und ich war sehr überrascht, daß das Essen trotz brummenden Ladens recht schnell zubereitet war.
Eine kleine Anekdote am Rande: Als ich schon am essen war, wurde es plötzlich dunkel im Restaurant. Stromausfall. Der Chef ließ sich davon nicht beeindrucken. Er ging zum Sicherungskasten (mitten im Restaurant), hämmerte ein paarmal mit der Faust auf den Sicherungskasten ein und es wurde wieder hell.
Wer also wirklich authentische portugiesische Gerichte probieren will, sollte den Bacalhoeiro ausprobieren. Das Restaurant ist mein ganz klarer Tip für Downtown Lissabon!
ÖPNV: Rossio oder Restauradores. Vom Rossio aus sind es weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuß, die Rua dos Sapateiros ist eine (winzige) Parallelstraße zur Rua Augusta.
