Located across from the beautiful Luz church and next to The Fort restaurant, the Ice Cream Factory is the perfect place to grab an ice-​cream whilst wandering down to the beach or on the way home.
It’s just a small counter but service is very quick and friendly. There are around 12 flavours of ice cream so something for everyone! Strawberry, mandarin and yoghurt, mint chocolate chip, butter crunch etc. You can have either a cone or a tub, and one or two scoops — € 2.20 for one scoop and € 3.50 for two. Considering everything is made on the premises, I think these are more than reasonable prices.
I went for the strawberry in a cone, which was delicious, with real strawberry pieces. Be quick before it melt all over your hand though! I tried some of the other half’s mint chocolate chip but it’s not a flavour I would personally go for, though they were very generous with the chocolate chips.
Always worth stopping off at — I’d recommend eating your purchase on the benches near the rocks at the beach. Holiday perfection.
