You don’t have to be a vegetarian to love this restaurant. From a very modest exterior you are transported into a beautiful understated calm and peaceful interior. Our server/host could not have been more accommodating and informative. He explained how the restaurant was furnished with recycled materials. The tables are Strips of different wood for a beautiful finish on top of claw foot legs. However, we go to a restaurant for good food. The food was beyond good. My partner ordered a dish called Brigadier Mirandela and I ordered mushroom risotto. We had a lovely bottle of white wine from the Douro region and finished with a dessert called chocolate decadence. Everything was flavorful unique and delicious. After dinner our host showed us both an upstairs area that was being converted into rental suites and the downstairs restrooms which were beautifully decorated and appointed. We had an absolutely wonderful evening. We highly recommend this restaurant. It is worth the trouble to find it particularly if you enjoy vegetarian food. The cost was less than € 60 for both of us.

Excellent experience all around. Husband and wife team combine elegant dining, an eco friendly space featuring rooftop solar, rainwater collection in the garden and recycled furniture. The menu showcases traditional portuguese cuisine and everything is vegetarian. I came here twice for lunch and dinner. It is a vegan/vegetarian refuge in Porto and the owners are really lovely people. The garden out back feels like a hidden paradise. Would love to go back.

Went there for lunch and the place is amazing. The food was OK. I had the Vegetable Francesinha, and it was a bit disappointing, as I don’t think the lettuce, onion and cucumber were a good match with the rest of the ingredients. For dessert I’ve chosen the brownie and it was pretty good.
