If you are fortunate enough to stumble upon this place, consider yourself lucky. Luis is so knowledgeable about wine and so super friendly. Sit out front, order the blood sausage, enjoy wine recommendations and listen to free live music. Perfecto!

We hadn’t had lunch and it was 4pm when we decided to stop by and grab a bite. It is a small but charming place with seating outside aswell as inside. The staff was extremely friendly and spoke English well. Since it was our first official meal in portugal we decided to try the traditional bacalhau(salted cod), the tremoços(beans), assortment of smoked meats, tomato toast and toast with black pig. All was delicious perhaps a little on the salty side, but flavors were good. We also got the three port tasting which was fun and our server kindly explained each one in detail. When my husband asked for red wine our server offered a tasting of three different reds along with a detailed explanation once again. To finish we had coffee with a Portuguese pastry(can’t remember the name but not pastela de nata). The bill came to around 15 euros a person with all the food and wine/port tastings. Very reasonable! Overall we had a wonderful experience and would recommend this place to friends and family.
