I’ve been on a Azorean/Portuguese food adventure(possibly food-soul searching) and this place is one I’d come back to! Food was great, lots of «appetizers»…they’ll bring you out olives, bread & butter, sausages, etc and if you don’t want it/pay for it, just tell them to take it back. The waiter speaks good English. The bread and butter was warm… so that immediately was a plus! There were about 3 different types of sausages and 2 were better than the other, but heck I couldn’t tell you which were what. They also brought out this(large) chicken sausage which I liked a lot, would have loved it if it didn’t taste like it was crisped with kerosene. The cataplana(shrimp & squid) I ordered was flavorful, a little oily but I think that’s the way most food here is. Pricing was a bit on the higher side but do-able. The décor was lovely, but slow down on the street as there is not much light illuminating the outside or the sign.
