This is a charming café with homemade deserts produced by locals. They also serve a good quality coffee. It was recommended to me by a local as the best place to get the Pastel de Nata, a famous Portuguese custard tart. I haven’t tried the pastel de nata yet(took two of them away). I will report later on that. Their carrot cake with chocolate glaze was so good, I had to order the second one right away in case I will never have a chance to come back at this café. I found the quality of their coffee very good as well. Service is welcoming. The ambience is calm and inviting. P. S. Update on the pastel de nata. It’s really really good! Soft enough on top and hard enough at the bottom. There are very few places in Portugal where they take it to such a perfection.
