Sooo good! I had chicken mofango, and my husband had pork mofango. Don’t miss this place!

Mediocre food, service was bad, closed half hour early and were mean to some tourists trying to get in at 11:30pm.

First place we ate in PR. Very close walk from El San Juan Resort and casino. The octopus Mofango was top five best thing I have ever eaten in my life. Seriously you are a fool if you come to San Juan and do not stop and eat it. My wife had the Pork which was also very good. They also make there own hot sauce and we are flying back to DC with two bottles. I also am googling if I can bring octopus Mofango thru TSA check point

This place is terrible. Took over an hour to get our food. The toast wasn’t toasted, The eggs were cold, and cold pancakes. So many more problems. I will never ever return here.

The best Dominican food away from home, friendly service, very clean, yes even the bathroom is very clean(;-) there is parking in the back which is very difficult in Isla Verde PR.

A very clean resturant with reasonable prices. Menu is your standard fare with a traditional Puerto Rican presentation(Fries at breakfast).

We had a strange experience here. We sat down and ordered coffee. We had to wait awhile for it, but it was good. Our waitress was nice but seemed overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn’t very crowded. She accidentally brought us orange juice and we tried to get her attention for awhile to let her know we didn’t order it. She realized it was her mistake and gave it to us for free, which was nice. The juice was good. I ordered a breakfast wrap, but asked for bacon instead of ham. I thought they actually forgot to put the bacon in it until I found a tiny piece at the end. It was fine. My boyfriend had the club sandwich and didn’t like it. Food was reasonably priced, but was mediocre. Staff was nice but disorganized and slow. Wouldn’t come back for breakfast, but would consider giving it a shot for lunch or dinner.

My husband and I went for a quick breakfast here in lieu of the complimentary breakfast at our hotel because we wanted to try something different. Pros: –Nicely appointed –Not super expensive –Convenient to most of the San Juan Hotels –Nice staff Cons(mind you, the place was empty but for one other table of people) –Took forever to place our order –Took forever to get our drinks/food –Food was ok, nothing authentic or mind blowing –Our server forgot a few things –Staff left a few tables filled with empty plates and garbage for a long time. Meh experience.

Best mofongo in town for dinner. Affordable prices and walking distance from nearby hotels. They also serve breakfast and lunch.

Loved the food… It was good puerto rican food. Chicken stew was very satisfying and tasty. I would definitely recommend this’d place if you are looking for authentic local food.

The baccalaítos are good… Everything else average or lower. Been here multiple times on my PR visits and it never gets better. It’s just conveniently close to my timeshare… Cuban sandwich … I don’t even think they put any effort into making it. Slabs of I think spam were on it, ugh… Rice and beans. Boring. I’ve had way better . Baccalaítos … Make sure u pronounce it the right way or the waiter will correct you… Pisses me off so bad like is Spanish my native language, wise ass. At least the place was clean. $ 21 for cod fish cakes, Cuban sandwich and a side of rice and beans

So the baccalaitos were DELICIOUS as was my Greek salad but here’s what was NOT so good: I ordered the Mediterranean couscous & after a few minutes the waiter came back & said they didn’t have it. So I settled for the Greek salad(their version, which was very good), which came without dressing & I then had to call the waiter over to ask for it. When he returned, instead of bringing oil & vinegar(separately or mixed-either would have been ok), he brought back 4 packets of dressing & asked if I wanted Italian or ranch. Definitely NOT the proper dressing & that was tacky to say the least. I used the Italian as that was the better choice & it did taste good anyway. All in all, we were satisfied but they need to improve on those 2 items.

There’s nothing I can complain about with this establishment. The waitresses was so friendly and nice and very prompt with everything. She helped explain things on the menu if we had questions. She also maybe amazing strong espresso coffee. We had breakfast here. I had some Dominican/Puerto Rican breakfast that had mashed plantains with fried eggs on top with onions and fried cheese it was AMAZING! I ate until I was miserable!!! The prices are super cheap too!!! Make sure you come and have breakfast here and get their espresso with milk. You won’t be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I prided ourselves on never eating at the same place twice during our week in Puerto Rico… With the exception of this place. Prices were great, especially considering the markup in this hotel zone. Service was on point. Servers spoke English as well as Spanish and acted like they appreciated our business, which was not a common trait in the hotel zone. The owner was there making sure everyone was taken care of both times we came. Super clean restaurant, bright and airy with a sort of beachy feel that wasn’t cheesy. Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the Isle Verde area.

Aunque tiene un buen menú el servicio tarda mucho y las que atienden no son tan simpáticas con el cliente.

This place is really deceptive. At first glance it seemed like a simple basic diner style restaurant. So I ordered a late breakfast, French toast bacon and a cup of coffee. Seemed like the right thing to do until I noticed my neighbors had paella, whole fried red snapper, and A mofongo with steak. They were plenty of empty tables but the tables that had patrons were filled with families with small children and couples with babies in strollers. Everyone was very chilled back and relaxed. The service was okay, several different people checked in on me after a very long wait to get recognize when I set myself down after entering the restaurant. I had 3 half sliced triangles of French toast one of which was barely cooked at all. There was lots of butter and cinnamon and powdered sugar. The French toast came with two slices of bacon. A pet peeve of mine is when bacon is cooked by throwing it in a deep fryer. In my book that’s a no-no. It just makes for ultra over crispy bacon. Give me the flat top anytime when cooking bacon. I ordered a couple more slices though, so go figure. I had a problem also with the aunt Jemama syrup not because I don’t like syrup but because the container just didn’t seem to be that fresh. The plastic bottle had the look of a bitter that had been around for a very very very long time. The coffee was delicious. And actually the prices not so bad for this area. And one of the turn off again are these plastic chairs that just are not that comfortable at all. The bathrooms are lovely.

I think all of the great reviews are for either lunch or dinner because breakfast was quite average as we found to be the case for any place serving breakfast. It’s nothing really different from American breakfast — eggs, ham and cheese mostly. It was quite standard, the service was okay, and after 2 breakfast sandwiches, and 2 coffees with tip, the bill was approximately $ 20. It’s a clean, spacious place. Quiet and empty during breakfast. We didn’t love the coffee and my breakfast wrap was left untouched because I think I just expected more. That’s my fault. I just get disappointed when I eat purely for function and not enjoyment.
