Wendy’s

Just a typical Wendys, which it is one of my fav fast foods; however, service speed should improve

Recently had a group of four here and we were all happy with our food and service. Parking lot has a guard shack to make sure no one abuses the free parking to go to beach. They also feature breakfast but I didn’t get to try it.

This Wendy’s was horrible. The wait time is ridiculous. I waited for a double burger deluxe for over 15 minutes. I waited in line to order for over 15 minutes. Also you cannot substitute sides so that was upsetting to hear after waiting so long to order. Stay away from this place.

Service was horrible. We waited 35 minutes just to receive burnt food. The cashier was very slow and one employee, who was on break, kept disrupting our orders for a personal chat. Bathroom was filthy and some of the booths were broken down (literally busted) with dirty tables. Never again!

Thought I’d have a late lunch at Wendy’s, there was 6 people in line ahead of me, also eating in, and ordering was painful — took 8 minutes. I was thinking 1 star when I finally ordered, but was about to round it sharply upward, when they placed my fries and ices tea on a tray before I received my change. The fries also were plentiful. I tried one at the counter, and the fry was very good. Waiting on the grilled pollo (chicken) sandwich became another issue. In 7 minutes they placed a fried chicken sandwich on the tray. When I said it was supposed to be grilled, of course, they verified the written ticket before pulling it back. In another 3 minutes I got a grilled chicken sandwich. Of course, by now, the exposed fries were at room temperature. The ones at the bottom were tasty and slightly warm. The sandwich was hot, but a little dry, tasty otherwise. Meal was inexpensive, $ 7.89 for the meal, but 1 ¾ would be my rating. Oh, the only iced tea they have is sweet raspberry, on tap, so far from excellent.
