Fantastic Greek food in the middle of Luquillo. Who would’ve thought? A little pricey, but hey, it’s the Caribbean!

I’ve eaten at several Greek places and didn’t know what to expect when eating here on vacation. It was great. It’s got a cool atmosphere too. Recommend.

My boyfriend and I spent about $ 70(not including tip) here because everything sounded so tasty! We ordered 2 sangrias, the calamari and spicy humus with pita, the doner kebab platter, and then took home a lamb gyro and chicken shawarma(because we’re THAT disgusting). Everything was delicious. The hummus was a very generous portion and the pit bread was so tasty; the calamari had great flavor though it was a bit rubbery; the doner kebab was fantastic and was served with rice, salad, pita, and humus; I didn’t try the lamb gyro but my BF loved it, and my shawarma was very good– it was topped with onions and tomatoes which I’m not used to but enjoyed very much! Our server was extremely friendly and we enjoyed this meal a whole lot!

Got here an hour ago for breakfast still waiting for the eggs to arrive at our table. Good expression at first but won’t come back here again.

Omg. I’m still drooling thinking about this place. We saw it off the freeway, went the row of restaurants nearby(forgot the name) and then decided on this place and so glad we did. It was the BOMB. Now how am I going to go back to Cali without having Eriks gyros near me. Dammit! This place is everything! Great food, good service, fresh and delicious! What more can anyone ask for! Wow!

This was one of those rare foodie experiences where you know you’re eating one of the best meals of your life and you know you will look back at the sweet sweet ecstasy you experienced during above stated meal. A few months later and I am still unable to find anything close to Erik’s Gyros when it comes to Greek food in the US. Where do I start? Is it the hot fluffy pita that practically melted in my mouth? The perfectly cooked and well seasoned chicken that I couldn’t get enough of? Or maybe the creamy delectable hummus that I almost embarrassingly licked my plate for? All I know is that six months later and I’m STILL fantasizing about my meal at this heavenly restaurant. Please find a way to go if you’re lucky enough to find yourself in PR. You won’t be disappointed. Even their coffee was the !!

This is my first Unilocal review and I am writing this because if you are in Luquillo you MUST go to Erik’s. The coffee is delicious, the portions are huge and the food is magnificent. While not a foodie, I am a pancake expert and these are the best I’ve ever had — homemade, cooked in butter to a crispy brown, with bananas or blueberries if you choose. The coffee is real Puerto Rican Alto Grande. Some other reviews complained of a wait — we had no problem. Bottom line: don’t miss.

Unilocal rocks for restaurant and bar choices! This place has outstanding friendly service, fantastic gyros, homemade fries and I loved the drink I ordered mixed with champagne

Look forward to coming to eat here every time I’m in town. The food is delicious and authentic. The gyro platter comes with Greek salad and hummus. And they have a variety of craft beers.

Total vindication! The lamb gyro was great, the pancakes were the best, but the service was even better.

Yummo! Kinda pricy and we had a long wait in spite of being half empty. But good food. Not a comfortable place, a/c dripping on leg throughout meal. Authentic gyros. I wasn’t crazy about the horseradish in the hummus though.

This place rocks!!! It has been around for a while… however this was a first for me. We went there for Sunday Brunch. The place is little, but it makes up with good service and food. Had a greek omelette… delicious! Simply loved the place. and the prices too!!! Will be back soon.

Small place, and a huge wait time !!! I ordered a Kobe Burger and it took a whole hour. Yes you read right! A WHOLE hour ! When the burger got here it was very good but the fries were too big and raw in the center . Good small place. A little pricey tho. They need to reduce the wait time.

I am a foodie who lives and breathes good food. Chef Erik and His wife Melissa run this classy and amazingly refreshing joint in Luquillo off the PR3 and PR193 exit. Forget the overrated Kiosks in Luquillo which have stale and fried food that will be overbearing and head to Eriks deli and restaurant. The food is fresh, delightful, creative, loving and simply made with a lot of love and passion. Service is impeccable. We had the Steak which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Grilled Chicken Gyro was delicious. My Cubano Sandwich was a perfect harmony of meat and cheese. This place is a must Visit and close to perfect beaches. Thank u Chef Erik and Melissa for this refreshing cuisine. We wish u tremendous success.

Breakfast!!! Have you ever had 2 fried eggs over lamb topped with feta and spinach? If you haven’t you should be ashamed. No, seriously. We also ordered the Tripleta sandwich(not greek at all, a 3 meat sandwich) and it was amazing. Also good coffee and killer french toast. By the way, the portions are for superheroes. Just go!

There has never been a better omelet in all of creation than the one I had at Erik’s. We came on a day when construction was going on, but they kept it to a minimum off to the side. This is a smallish place, but you can tell the love that goes into the food. Do NOT order two items, thinking you will get small portions, however. I got an omelette, tostadas, and blueberry pancakes. As you can see from my pictures, the pancakes took the entire plate, as did an omelet. We had to push another table up to accomodate our food. Get there early if you want blueberries, as I hear they run out quickly. Everything is made to order, Erik himself cooking right behind the tables. Delicious!!!

Make time to visit this spot for an amazing breakfast or lunch. You can opt for a traditional Eriks full breakfast(eggs, ham, bacon, pancakes, plus a bunch more). Very tasty Gyro platter and amazing El Pascador(lobster tail and eggs with hollandaise sauce). When they say steak and eggs, they mean succulent bone-in cut that is tender enough to cut with the butter knife. Keep in mind everything is made to order and plan some time to sit and enjoy your time with friends and family. Don’t give in to your conditioned expectation of a rushed meal. This is not fast food, and that’s ok! Enjoy!

We stopped at Erik’s to order sandwiches to go on our way to El Yunque. Our order consisted of 2 chicken club sandwiches on pita bread, a roasted turkey sandwich and a gyro. The order took 40 minutes. Yes you read that right — 40 minutes. This after being told it would take 25 minutes which is still ridiculous for 4 sandwiches. Having said that, the sandwiches were very good. Were they 40 minutes, $ 50 good? Ummm… nope. If you eat in, the place is very small — only 6 or so tables.
