Very good local Puerto Rican food in the town of Maunabo. Not many options in town but this is a good choice for lunch. Good service. Nice people!

I definitely recommend this place… Very friendly staff pastries homemade on the premises. Total bill only $ 15. for 2 people… Bacon, eggs, omelet, toast, coffee & pastry… Not bad for a a small town of Maunabo. They serve breakfast and lunch. Very clean, popular among the locals. Would give it a 31⁄2 star if Unilocal had one.

Vegetarian review: Great little place in a small town. Service was friendly and one of the staff spoke English well. I went with a veggie omelette with cheese. The cheese is American cheese which I didn’t care for. The food was typical for island breakfasts — simple. The bread served on the side was really the star! It’s homemade and they had buttered it then pressed it to warm. Simple but really delicious. Service was fast. This is clearly the place for bread. In our 30 minutes there no less than 25 people stopped in for 1 – 10 loaves. They also have a nice assortment of pastries and donuts. We grabbed donuts for the road which were tasty — heavy and dense yeast donuts with lots of sugary topping.

Staying close by in Patillas and found this place on Unilocal under breakfast. We have come at least 5 times in the 10 days we have been here. One employee speaks English and is very helpful! Great sandwiches(we love the ham, egg and cheese and the salami sandwiches) and great pastries! They also have a lot of other options that we didn’t try. Highly recommended! Easy and inexpensive.

Small town cafeteria with varied accordingly priced menu. Serves breakfast and local dinner. Nescafe coffee machine. Quite popular among locals. Clean, air conditoned. Good choice.

This is the place for incredibly inexpensive yet delicious food in a clean family run location. When I want to eat breakfast outside of the house, we come here. It is slow, but worth it as the bread is homemade and things are made to order. You can always call an order in if you don’t want to wait as long. Most importantly, if you are a vegetarian, be clear with you’re order. They are good at accommodating, but can only do it if they know about it!
