Super cute little museum and art gallery! Entry is free, which is reasonable considering the place is rather small. There was this super funny statute of an old goat with giant cojones smoking a cigarette when we first walked it! Upstairs they had a nice exhibit of local art and some historical artifacts from firefighting back in the day such as old helmets, hats and hoses. There are cool old photos of firefighters from the early 1900s. Outside there were all these cool lion sculptures. The lion is apparently a symbol of the town. Well worth a quick visit if you are in the area. This is right in the center of town and hard to miss.

This place is cool. Love the pics of the firehouse Chiefs from the first 1 to the last 1. And the helmets were cool. And the fire truck and buggy. My favorite thing was the lions in the front and the color of the building. When I come back I’m going back here.

Cute little piece of Ponce’ firefighting history. I always enjoy going to the plaza and visiting.

This is the town’s first fire station built in 1883. It’s a popular tourist attraction and free to visit. The entire firehouse will take less than a half hour to get through. It’s not that big. However, it’s a good starting point to other attractions in the area.

The most charming firefighting station I’ve ever seen! Painted with white and black stripes, it takes centerstage at the Plaza del Delicias. Head over here first to get a free easy-to-read map of Ponce’s attractions. You can also buy a $ 2 trolley tour ride here.
