Very very very goooood. We all had the Mixto sandwiches. I had the Jr and it was big. Hard to finish. The men with us got the regular and it was ALOT for them to eat. They were coma full after. I highly recommend this spot for a fun delicious meal. The staff was very friendly and dealt well with our inability to pronounce Puerto Rican. :)

Unilocal info on hours is way off. Lists 1700 as opening. Nope, truck arrived at 1900, and didn’t open its doors until 1940 But worth the wait. Best meal in the island Great take out and so affordable

Hands down one of the best tripleta joints around. My boyfriend and I are from the south we live pretty far away from the area but we make the trip once in a while because it’s just that good.

ELCHURRI is an institution in Puerto Rico. Since this food truck began serving sandwiches in the early 90s, it has been a staple of late night munchies. Simply put, they serve the best sandwich I’ve ever tasted – and I love eating sandwiches and I’ve had quite a few in my lifetime. These are loaded subs: make sure to get a «mixto», which has chicken and stake, along with salad, potato sticks and sauce. It will milk you up, but leave you craving for more. The line at this truck is often long, but it moves quickly and the wait is well worth the wait. Early in the evening, you’ll have a better chance of avoiding lines. After 11pm, the truck has more folks gathered at it. If you are visiting PR, this is a bit out of the way from other tourist destinations(unless you got to Isla Verde, where they now park a second truck). But it’s well worth the detour. Can’t recommend this sandwich joint enough!

Yes, yes, yes! This is an incredible sandwich. Most places I visit or live in have 1 signature sandwich that I crave… Puerto Rico has 3. This is the latest and perhaps greatest(others being the Choripan and Medianoche at Moncho Pan in Cupey). The menu is small and they do every bit of it as good as it can be done. The pipits on the sandwich are a terrific contrast in texture to the soft pan sober and tender meat. So good.

Same amazing sandwiches, just that they keep rising the prices. Now, over $ 7 the sandwich without beverages. Most of the times, the service is good and staff is nice.

I use to live these guys. Last time I went to Isla Verde’s El Churry the size of the tripleta was half of what they usually served.

El mixto is the choice you need to ask for. I order as a sanwich, and is Awesome. Also have taste El Churrasco, but not as good as El mixto.

Io got to this place after four in the morning. They were closed but still cleaning. I was desperate and disappointed but I tried my luck anyways when since I noticed the staff was still around. Even thought I didn’t get a chance to try a real Tripleta they were more than willing to sell me sandwiches with the only meat left which was chicken. I only remember the name of one employee and his name is Luis Sanchez. He was very proper and a riot along with the rest of the staff. Will highly recommend El a cherry to anyone since their food never disappoints and the staff was so willing. Really enjoyed my experience so thank you.

Heard about this place in man vs food. Tried the mixto with bacon and Swiss cheese and it was really good. The bread was sweet along with the mixture of all the sauces. Would be better with grilled onions but overall I recommend anyone visiting to try this out.

Great for late at night. Never have been dissapointed with the mixto. Not healthy but who cares as you wont be eating here everyday. Noy many options but it is what it is, and its delicious.

Great wraps. Well flavored. Friendly staff and friendly customers! Be sure to eat here during you stay! Well worth it and on one night(morning), they didn’t close until shortly after 5AM.

After arriving in Puerto Rico, this was the first stop we made right after leaving the airport cause my friends and I were super hungry! This place is basically a food truck but with seating outside. We all got the Mixto wrap(half chicken and half steak). After the first bite, we knew we were going to enjoy trying out the different foods Puerto Rico had to offer. The Mixto wrap was so deliscious especially with the potato strings in there! I wish I can order a bunch of these and bring them back to Cali with me! Oh and they are super cheap too. I’ll be back!!! =)

The bread… the meats… the price… everything just fits perfectly. Its a drunk meal that you can enjoy sober. slightly on the salty side but very good over all. lots of flavor and open late. looking forward to go there again.

Great midnight snack. Be patient, cause line moves slow most of times. Also not to much space for sitting down. But still, its worth the wait.

Food trucks have quickly become a «thing» in the U.S. And undoubtedly, great things have emerged from said«thing». In Puerto Rico however, food trucks have always been a «thing», and the American public got to get a taste of just how good that«thing» can be thanks to Adam Richman and his show Man vs. Food. Although he came to take on the famous«Sleeping Cow» challenge at the famous Vaca Brava, it was his small stint at food truck El Churry that, in my opinion, stole the show. And rightly so. The flavors that the fellows at El Churry have coaxed out of the simple staple that is the sandwich are quite remarkable. And trust me, this is as simple as it gets. You pick between chicken or skirt steak and decide whether you want cheese or not. Any choice you make out of those will be the right one I assure you, but if you really want to taste the full extent of El Churry’s powers, you need to go for a «mixto»: a combination of both the chicken and steak that, along with some cheese and the order of bacon I tell you that you must order, will make you wonder why you haven’t traveled to Puerto Rico sooner to eat here and will probably have you planning your next visit as you eat.

El churry… El original La mejor parte del jangueo es terminar con una buena mixta con todo… Extra salsa… U know… cs
