A free bottle of champagne with more than 3 people in your party for brunch — pureeeeee AMAZINGness… we enjoyed passion fruit mimosas on an elevated Deck with sweeping views and waves crashing. The live jazz and service really sealed the deal for me. Whenever I visit Puerto Rico in the Condado Beach area I’ll be sure to dine here. I think it was 30 or 35 for brunch

Amazing view, amazing food, amazing service. Pricey but worth it. Located on the beach. But make a reservation so you don’t get stuck not sitting at a desired table. We got the cocoa ginger glazed shrimp, apricot glazed chicken, churrasco, coco 4 Leche cake, and a bottle of wine. Worth it

First time visiting this beautiful island and walking by the beach my friends and I see the restaurant and we decided to walk in but the manager was very rude by saying people with sandals and shorts are not welcome, and there before I saw few people sitting by the bar with sandals and shorts. Honestly I felt discriminate by this lady went so rudely sent one of her employees to tell us «guy you can not walk in to the restaurant like this«judge someone by there aperiences is very wrong from my point of view. If you have a business next to beach what type of customers are you specting?

Well, we are just getting ready to dine. We are celebrating my sister’s milestone. We had to eat outside on the patio… Not by choice… Zika is supposed to be rampant in Puerto Rico… They DIDNOT offer any mosquito repellent. Thank God we had extra in our purses.

Great service and buffet was excellent! You have different healthy choices so even if your eating to explode, you don’t feel as bad since the food looks fresh and organic. Also, free valet parking awesome since they have a lot of road construction at this time.

My date Ordered the surf n turf and truffle Mac and cheese(both delicious) and I got the scallops with some kind of sweet potato purée which was disappointing. Filet was cooked perfectly and the Mac an cheese was super tasty. A little pricey but the ambiance is really nice, we chose to sit on their outside deck and watch the ocean. Great time.

Great high end restaurant to dine in San Juan! Classy and beachy atmosphere, ample selection of typical Puerto Rican and Spanish food, and exceptional service. I went for dinner with my mom on the last night of our stay in San Juan. Took us 3 min to walk there from our hotel which was awesome! We had made a reservation the night before and were seated immediately after being greeted very kindly by the two hostesses. We were seated on the porch by the bar which was a great spot. A bit cramped but it worked! The sun was just about to go down and we saw lots of different colors between the sunset and also the lights from the restaurant, bar, and street. Our waiter’s name was Diego. He was not the most personable but was nice. For appetizer we ordered the churrasco egg rolls which were seriously the best appetizer I’ve ever had! Then for dinner my mom and I split the special of the day which was grilled snapper with boniato. Also fantastic. We needed something sweet, so we decided to order a dessert. I chose the guava cheesecake which was perfect– it really hit the spot! I would recommend giving this place a try for a night you want to be a little bit more dressy while still having a nice and laid back evening. Everything about this restaurant is great, I just would have really appreciated a bit better service and more attention from our waiter!

Honestly The view alone is to die for! Perfect breeze from the ocean and amazing view. It’s gorgeous we even saw a proposal while having dinner. Trying to get the most bang for our buck we order a carafe of their house cocktail which was really good and boyfriend and I each got about 3 glasses. The menu is a little different, almost Asian, steakhouse fusion? I had the surf and turf lo mein which had some spicy kick to it but was so delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking and as I love to say the shrimp tasted like ocean. Because how much fresher can it get than that? Overall it was around $ 150 so you do pay for the view a bit but the experience and food is worth it.

Walked in right after the beach. Amazing place/excellent service and the food was delicious. The service is up to par with a 5 star restaurant! We look forward to dining here next time we come to PR. Recommend the Surf & turf for entrée, the ceviche for appetizer and the 4 leches dessert!

Our party visited this establishment based on reviews but was disappointed by the lack of seasoning with the dishes. However, they were generous on the liquor with the cocktails so we just called it an evening.

Pros: — very stylish — amazing view of the beach — very friendly service — great drinks — atmosphere and ambiance Cons: — disappointing steak — doesn’t warrant the price tag I would go back for drinks though. The view from the deck when there is a sunset is(almost) priceless.

For a special occasion dinner while staying in San Juan, Oceano is the best pick possible. We ate here for my boyfriend’s birthday and between the food, service and ambiance there was not a single flaw. I was initially considering eating somewhere in downtown San Juan but am really glad that I made it down to the Condado area instead. Here, we were able to eat surrounded by palm trees and a cool ocean breeze while overlooking the beach, which felt way more special then anything in a downtown setting would have. Our server Bradley was just the sweetest. He had a ton of local knowledge to share with us, and had some great after dinner bar suggestions! So yes, service and atmosphere were tops but on to the real star of our dining experience — the eats. We started off with ginger mojitos, they were a bit small for the 15 dollar price tag but luckily they tasted great. For an app we split the fried calamari. Instead of rings they were thick calamari steaks which was interesting. I was hesitant at first but ending up loving! Their was a duo of sweet and tangy dipping sauces with the calamari. For my main I went with churrasco steak which came topped with sautéed onions and above a bed of authentic Puerto Rican rice. Not sure of the exact name but it had peas, chopped ham cubes and was seasoned to perfection. The dish also came with a side salad which was a nice touch! My mans ordered the surf and turf special and finished every last drop. The filet was juicy and coated in some type of dark coffee sauce and the lobster tail was so succulent that it didn’t even need a side of butter. There were steamed veggies and a rich truffle mac and cheese served on the side. We were totally stuffed, but birthday dessert is always necessary! They were unfortunately out of the chocolate cake, so we opted for the guava cheesecake. The cheesecake sort of looked like a piece of salmon which was kind of a trip but it was so yum. To go with our meal we shared a bottle of Malbec. Although the cocktails were pricey, all of the wine bottles were fairly priced at around 25 – 35 dollars. We’re so happy that we came in for a night of indulgence on our San Juan vacation. If I travel to San Juan again I’ll eat here without hesitation.

Five stars for views, ambiance, and service but only three stars for the food. The ceviche starter was pleasant as was the steak, but the other components of the surf and turf were just alright. Certainly not worth the price. Save yourself some money and have a few drinks at the upstairs bar during sunset to enjoy the killer views and consult Unilocal for some better eats nearby.

Juan David! Wow! Thank you so much! This is the definition of purely impeccable service. What an attentive, knowledgable, kind waiter. We came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and we loved everything from the service to the food to the view to the ambiance. For the mimosa lovers, I suggest that you request Juan David as your waiter and he will make sure to provide you with a wealth of options, all of which we enjoyed. The food is buffet-style for brunch and there’s plenty of selections(dessert too). Juan David gave us a tour of the restaurant and explained all of the food in the buffet in detail. This place is right over the beach, surrounded by gorgeous palm trees, so you can only imagine the view. I’m looking forward to going back again this weekend. It was a wonderful experience. Kudos to management here — great job.

Wow! Extremely fine dining here right on the beach front on Condado beach. It’s basically a 3 story mansion that has been converted into an ultra sleek lounge and restaurant. There’s a rooftop bar as well but there was a private event so were only able to stay on the main floor. We literally stumbled upon the restaurant while looking for something beach front and I am thrilled we did. Unfortunately we didn’t have a reservation but we gladly sat at the indoor/outdoor bar where they serve the full menu. We started with 2 craft cocktails. Mine was a lavender martini(a little sweet but different) and another made with passion fruit juice, rum and something else(also sweet but good). Wound up sharing 2 appetizers as our meal — ginger coco shrimp and ahi tuna tartar — both were absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. One complaint only — it seems as if bartenders specialize in making certain drinks so when we wanted another round, we had to wait for that bartender to be available to make it — had the service been quicker we likely would’ve had a third round. Pricey menu and drinks too but the quality of the food is well worth it. Oh — the restroom is unisex — wasn’t prepared for that — but it was all good!

I came to this restaurant on a Wednesday night with a party of 12. We were able to make reservations that day, and were seated outside with a great view of the ocean. Our servers were great, very attentive. The atmosphere would probably be 4 stars. Most tables were outside and had a great view of the ocean, but once the sun went down it was really hard to see the other diners due to lack of other lighting in the restaurant. The food here was good, but not great. I thought the appetizers were much stronger than the entrees– I really liked the tuna tartare and the plantain soup. Drinks didn’t seem like they had much alcohol. Overall I think it was a good place for a group, but wouldn’t place it on my must haves in San Juan.

I went to dinner at Océano along with Unilocaler Jim D. and we both agreed that, though on the high pricey side, the food was really good and innovatively prepared with unique ingredients as well as exquisite in presentation. I started off with a special of the night octopus salad garnished with peppers, onions, cilantro, lemon vinaigrette and malaga chustriess, and though I admitted don’t even know what a Malaga chustriess is or supposed to be, I can say it was flavorful, tasty and downright very good. For my main course I went for their tenderloin Angus beef filet with a port wine lingonberry sauce and side of manchego-truffle lumachine pasta. The meat, at $ 39, proved to be of a prime tender cut and the port wine lingonberry sauce, a combination I’ve never had before, was really an over the top delicious enhancer. I might also add that Oceano is located right smack on the ocean front so you really couldn’t ask for a better view. Also, the general décor is modern, bright with a sort of upbeat flare about it. The only downside I found was with their mixed drinks, which for the price, I found to be rather wimpy as far as alcohol content is concerned.

When a fantastic dinner but not at a cheap price right on the beach this is the place to go to I had the shrimp dinner and the shrimp were Colosso. The cocktails are pretty good to try the piña colada. The manager came over to our table more than one time to make sure that we were happy and well fed The staff was super friendly I was here 25 years ago when it was just a beachside bar and things do change for the better Also my friend had a delicious steak dinner, cooked spoke style to his liking however they don’t call it Pittsburgh style here in Puerto Ricoif your hotel is close to the restaurant walking would be the most easiest way as parking is extremely tight in this area enjoy the beach Bewes great sitting outside and watching the sun go down while you’re sipping on your piña colada

Fantastic ambiance. The place is literally on the beach and there’s nothing better than fresh ocean air during dinner. The tuna tartare and ceviche app was delicious, so was my steak and my friend’s lo mein… except everything was so salty we had to chug tons of water… and wine haha
