While living very close-by this bakery for the past few months I find it sad it took so long for me to visit. I have yet to visit any of their other locations, however, if their Enskede butik is even somewhat representative of the rest of their storefronts I can proudly proclaim that this is the best bakery in Stockholm. Their bread is always soft and fresh, ideally paired with soft French cheeses or used for smörgåsar. Their pastries are decadent, with lagom sweetness(to use the Swedish terms) and a perfect balance between texture and tenderness. Their espresso(of which they source from Monteriva(a staple among Swedish cafés) was made with a perfect balance giving it a smooth and velvety taste which perfectly cuts the sweetness of their pastries. The staff has always been friendly and courteous, and more supportive in my efforts to learn Swedish than I’ve experienced elsewhere. I will greatly miss this bakery when I depart fairly soon, and have placed this butik at the top of my places to visit when I return to Stockholm one day.
