Ariman

A classic Lund place. The lunch is good value, the drinks selection is OK and the service depends on the day of the week.

Good desserts, fair beer collection (bottled) and some decent regular beers on tap. The place feels cozy but cool and it is definitely the hipster hangout bar near the uni so the usual crowd is pretty awesome too. They make good coffee and if you’re looking for something Swedish to go with it, take the äppelkaka (apple pie) with vanilla sauce. The whole atmosphere is cool and its a great place to meet someone for a beer.

As a bar it is mostly a lot of people there, and is almost every weekend packed with people.
Their selection of beer and other alcoholic drinks is pretty good, medium variation.
This place is however kind of infamous for their unfriendly and sometimes even nasty bouncers. Abd their bartenders are at best average when it comes to quality of service (probably because of the amount of costumers)
Students and locals however seem to like this place.

Wow! Super cool spot in Lund. My new favorite bar in town, very chill nice outdoor patio view of the Church. They have food, coffee, deserts, and a grand selection of beer. Although I tend to stick with Carlsburg in Sweden. I walked around Lund for an hour on Sunday to find a bar with more than one group in it, this place was hopping. Mix of Americans, Swedes, etc.

This is just such a nice place! I recommend any visitor to go here. The prices are decent, the food is great, the ambiance cool & cozy and the noise level isn’t too high!

Go to Ariman for a reasonably-​priced and delicious lunch. Come back later for dessert, coffee, and/​or beer. This is an easy and unassuming café, comfortable with good service and quality food and drink. After being in Scandinavia for about a week, this place was a sanctuary of value and relaxation.

Great atmosphere. Very busy place, but seems to be just enough seating. Prices are a bit steep if you’re used to the US, but that’s the norm here. :) really enjoyable, would recommend.
Definitely try the citrus dream if you’re in the market for a light beer.

The three times I went to Café Ariman got me the feel and the beat of this place.
1^st time: Bar environment.
During the cold days of winter you just enjoy to gather with friends around a good beer (or pear cider for me!). Café Ariman offers you warmth, good music, and good drinks at reasonable prices. The place is clean but a bit loud and crowded during happy hours (but that’s how we like it).
2^nd time: Café environment
In the afternoon, you can have a cosy talk with your friends. At the back of the café, the decoration is a feel like home kind of thing. If you like apple crumbles, they make a succulent one! Pair that with an espresso shot and your good to go for the rest of your day!
3^rd time: Terrace environment
They own a big terrace in front of the café where you can lunch (try their «Couscous») while sunbathing. They’re not scared to offer a good portion and that’s what makes the price reasonable. The food is also very tasty.
It’s a go to for any casual occasion and be assured you’ll always step on someone you know over there!
