I dined here once and the food was seasoned ok and the steak was absolute medium rare although the food was good but there are rooms for improvements. Additionally, the service were quite friendly.
Overall this is an OK bar.

Verdict: If you like the 20s or 30s and beer this is then an OK place to visit.
Pros:
— 20s or 30s German ambiance is perhaps not my cup of tea but at least they one of the very few trying to create neat and unique atmosphere in Lund. GUTSY!
— Unpretentious and friendly staff. Quite opposite what their uniform might make one assume.
— The Beers.
— The Pub part of the Gastropub. Ambiance as well as knowledge.
Cons:
— Waiters dressed as bell boys! Me no likey!
— The Gastro Part of the Gastropub. Quite uneven kitchen whrere desserts suffers the most!

Okay, so the waiters have dressed up and look like bell boys, they serve the xo cognac in a grappa glass, the wine is not served at the right temperature, and they don’t bother asking how you’d like your meat. But the place has a freshness about it that let’s you forget the lack of etiquette and just go with the frank approach. The rumpsteak was excellent (one went back to the kitchen for a rare-​to-​medium transformation), and the chocolate cake was rich. Enjoyable.
