Lovely hotel, provided you aren’t put in room 101 First, the positives, of which there are several. The hotel is in a charming, older building, which is very centrally located(a few steps from the train station and all of the sights). Check in is automated and fast(just be sure to check your email for the door code a couple days before arrival). In addition, guests have a PC with printer and a Nespresso at their disposal, and the WiFi is free and strong. The included breakfast, at the café around the corner, offers a wide, fresh selection including fresh waffles. Now if only we hadn’t been tired and sleep deprived, so as to enjoy all of the above. We had been put in room 101 which is small, stuffy, directly next to the entrance door and on the street, and disappointingly dirty. Perhaps it was the time of year, but most of the scheduled weekly and monthly cleaning of the room and bathroom did not seem to have been done. The amount of black mold and mildew in the bathroom was simply unacceptable for the price. The hotel attempts to cover the stuffiness in the bathroom with a chemical air freshener, which instead gave me a headache. The carpet in the room also needed to be cleaned. The room had no ventilation(unless you opened the windows into the street, which isn’t an option while sleeping since the room is at street level), and the bed was a small double(which was a surprise as it had been advertised as a queen on ) pushed up against the wall, so we had a very poor night’s sleep. So, sadly for us, the negatives far outweighed the positives. Had we had another room, we likely would have returned. As things stand, we will not.

Nice, «family-like» bed and breakfast with breakfast served(for free to hotel guests) in the nearby Cafè. The rooms are clean, modern and well designed, even if the curtains always let some light through during night. I took a room with garden view and am 100% satisfied.
