Simple, well made Scandinavian cooking! Friday dinner in the bar, ordered all 6 items from the menu and were happily surprised by the consistent level of all dishes. Food is mostly vegetables, although not all vegetarian. There’s a definite farmer feel to the cooking. Plates are on the smaller size, ranging from 80−120sek, and they offer a chefs choice of 4(out of 6) dishes for 300sek. Even though I really liked the cooking, what Kv åkern really has succeeded with is atmosphere. The décor is simple, lightning is great, seating is cosy and there’s plenty of variety from bar seats to farmer table. This place has a very welcoming feel to it, and although it was difficult to get the waitress attention, we’ll be back :)
