Great hobby shop comparable to Faraos Cigarer in Copenhagen. Although it is smaller, it still has the same excellent variety of books, games, and toys of all genres. The staff speak English and you’ll be able to find books in English as well. Although the shop seems to be made up of mostly books and some toys here and there, they have a huge selection of games in the back. Like Faraos, the products here don’t come cheap but the store is well-curated. Support your local bookstore!

Nerd? Then this shop would probably for you. They have all kinds of books, DVDs, games of sci-fi and fantasy genre in this place, along with some Japanese manga as well, enough to cater the nerdiness of people in Scania. If you think finding certain sci fi /fantasy book in this era of online shopping is difficult, or that you would like to feel it on your hand before you buy it, then this is the place to go. I saw lots of Hayao Miyazaki DVDs on sale too as well as some board games. Service is with a smile, as the usual in this side of the pond and I walked out from here quite happily with a new horror book in tow. What’s not to like?

I’m somewhat glad I don’t live in Malmo because I would probably spend all my money here. They have a great selection of books spanning a broad swath of science fiction and fantasy, a great game section(think Settlers or Carcasonne, not Chutes and Ladders), movies, and other quirky merchandise. Great graphic novel selection, some animé. Drop by here and geek out for a bit!
