POOR BUSINESS ETHICS!
After having my harddrive in for a free recovery analysis I got told that the disk was broken and that my option was to buy a new disk from them that they would tranfser the data to for about 2000kr. I thought only the cable connection was broken so I decided to deny the offer and check alternative solutions. I asked arouund and was suggested to try and taking the disk out of the chassi and connectiving it with new cable (149kr). It worked fine. The disk was not broken!!!
It worked perfectly fine, just the connecting cable that was brokien. Its poor business ethics to suggest a client to spend 2000 when all that was needed was a cable for 149 kr.
Gotta love the reputation economy.
