O’Learys

Wow, this was waaaay worse than I could ever have expected this place to be. They have definitely gone full out on this location in Mall of Scandinavia, it boasts two different ‘areas’ in which people can dine but also take part in arcade games, bowling etc.
A friend and I thought we’d grab a quick bite here before heading over to watch a movie at Filmstaden. We ordered the shared starter which had some nachos, guacamole, salsa, some mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers. Everything was awful. The nachos were super salty and boring, guacamole was too salty, salsa was flavorless, the mozzarella sticks/​jalapeño poppers were clearly not defrosted in the right way, as the cheese was not the gooey way it is supposed to be.
For the main course, we both went with the burger. The burger was awful. The meat was amongst the worst I’ve ever had in Sweden. It literally tasted like a 10 kr patty from MAX. No meat flavor at all, just tasted like artificial crap. How disappointing.

No way how I look at it, this place has to be one of the most boring, un-​personal, and flavourless O’Learys I’ve ever been to. We were a larger group of people, 9 in total, and we had the lunch buffet. The ratatouille was so over-​seasoned and hot that my mouth was on fire. Spring rolls and pasta dishes tasted of nothing, and while the salami pizza was ok the dough was drier than it had to be. Had a tasting platter of herb-​crusted chuck roll with roasted vegetables. The meat was dry, no seasoning or char, and the vegetables had thick twigs of rosemary that felt like chewing on wood. The food was, sad to say, an utter disgrace. Not to mention that two in our company got food poisoning and threw up for hours from the Hawaii-​pizza. The location itself is also way too dark coupled with unattentive and indifferent staff who couldn’t care less if their lives depended on it. Horrible.

This is the worst O’Learys I’ve been. We watched CL and decided to take buffet. Buffet was so poor served. All kind of food was either overcooked or not well presented that you would take it.
The worst thing what happened to me is that I got very bad food poisoning from claim fish (musslor). Two days I needed for recovery.
I’ll never ever visit this restaurant again and my recommendation is to avoid it!

The buffet they had was nothing short of luxurious! I didn’t eat from it but my company did and we were both in awe. Not only was the selection amazing, the food was really good and for 275 SEK you could stuff your face for hours on end.
I had undercooked ribs, very unimpressive. They forgot to add sauce to them so they were dry as all hell. No point in elaborating there because my food was REALLY bad. But the buffet stuff was great. The staff was uninterested in the customers and we felt overlooked. I asked for a doggie bag which they first couldn’t get me and then decided they could but it took FIFTEEN MINUTES! To get a plastic container! I asked for a bag but after an additional 10 minutes of waiting we gave up and left.
The service was really bad but the food is worth coming back for, and we will go back.
