The food was quite good. I had the fettuccine with chicken and sun dried tomatoes and enjoyed it a lot. My husband’s soup and salad were very good. The café latte was excellent! The service was superb. HOWEVER, make sure you carefully read your check. Our total cost was 512.00 Swedish Krona, which at the current exchange rate would be 54.96 € or 59.82US$. But the restaurant had provided an exchange for those who wished to pay in € or $ which was 73.14 € or 104.49US$. BEAWARE, pay in Swedish Krona or get taken advantage of.

For a Swedish Italian Resturant the pizza was good. Not New York but fit the bill. If you was a good pizza and a fair price check this place out.

Go here for lunch. Their service is quick and it’s never crowded. The quality is ok. They have lighted candels at the table which I think is a nice touch.

Basic comfort food. We both had Swedish meatballs. Staff was friendly. Food was fine. If you’re hungry and want a good meal, stop in.

Very nice lunch menu. I had the redfish with potatoes and veggies. Nice staff and Low prices. Very good for a place in the turist trap part of Stockholm.

I really liked this place. Although some might say it was not unusually Swedish — the fare was good — the service rather good and atmosphere cozy. We had pizzas and an order of garlic bread which was a bit so-so. Otherwise I would recommend it for others to try!

I ate hear by myself tonight. Waiters were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The Skagen Toast appetizer and Funghi Pasta main were both as described and very good. An espresso and fernet branca and I am out the door as happy as can be. I will be back for sure. They are also open for lunch. Hope to see you all there!

The pizzas were alright. Ok staff but nothing too amazing. You get what you pay for. If you’re in Stockholm and are looking for amazing food, there’s many other places you should choose over Polpette.

I jumped into Polpette because it was just starting to pour. The server was pretty attentive for Stockholm service. My beer was refilled regularly(and beer prices were average for the area). For dinner, I had the funghi pasta, which was pasta in a light cream sauce with mushrooms and arugula. The pasta wasn’t as al dente as I prefer, but I still had to chew it. The sauce was pretty decent… very simple. The mushrooms were in big pieces and they were very fresh and tasty. Pricing was average for Stockholm, with my entrée at about 160SEK. It was a decent meal. Nothing authentic and nothing elaborate, but nothing to complain about.

Never eat here! Despite being convenient to our hotel and pleasant enough to sit outside and chat, the pasta was horrible and mushy and bland and only slightly warmish. The kicker is being charged 2 dollars each for tap water, and having to listen to an inane faux sincere argument from our waitress that this is quite common in Sweden and it was our fault for not asking her in advance if there were any extra charges they would add to the bill in addition to what we ordered off the menu. She stated that she would have been honest and told us the charge for tap water if we had only thought to ask her. Ridiculous I think.

The male servers are rude, they don’t smile and they stare at you. Yes you read right, they stare at you. There was this customer which queried about the pasta and you could see the impatience and offensive look on the male servers. It’s kinda«mafia-ish». The place smells funky and food isn’t consistent from what I gathered from the guest around me. Avoid at all cost. The female server was nice though.

When in Sweden do as the Swedes, an old saying goes so I was determined to eat Swedish meatballs. Though it may seem easy to find it was not that easy. It seemed i had to come to the most touristy area of lovely Stockholm to finally sit down and have my meatballs. They came with mashed potatoes, berries and a brown sauce. I got four of them. We had to order a seperate salad as meatballs don t come with veggies. The Salade Mista was boring, iceberg, peppers, tomatoes, an olive. All thrown on a plate, no dressing. The meatballs were okay, pretty hard but maybe that is the way meatballs are here, the mashed potatoes were very rich and laid in my stomach like cement. The sauce was good but not very much. The best part were the berries. My friend had ordered a chicken pizza, when it came there was no chicken on the pizza. She also had to pay for the water that was tap water. Our Waitress was very sweet though… All in all, this place confirms never to eat in a touristy area.
