When you switch town you have to change a lot in your life style, one of the relationships that at least I rarely change is with my barber. But now since I did move I had to find a new one. I know of at least 4 – 5 good ones on Söder alone, and Roy and Sons was one of the closest one to heart since a distant friend works there. Located at Hornstull, Roy and Sons runs a very charming and classy joint. Super friendly staff and great service. You get a great feeling of service and you feel well taken care of for sure. Great!

I am a fan. Very professional staff with a lot of experience so they really know what they’re talking about. It’s a great experience! However — it’s way too expensive for most people to make it a regular thing. I’ve got a solid beard & it ran me 400SEK for a simple trim. I need that weekly so it’d be 1500 – 2000 /month and while it’s a great experience it’s just too much money. For more advanced beard sculpturing it can even be around double. But keep in mind that a visit here is a real experience and I don’t actually get the impression that they’re in it for just having regulars stopping by weekly to trim but instead focus on almost spa like experience visits. Barbershops are rather hyped in Sweden right now(2015) so you’ll have a hard time finding a place that’ll just do a trim for like $ 10(80−100SEK) which is standard in bigger cities around the world(NYC, London, Sydney etc). + Extremely professional, friendy and knowledgable staff with a lot of experience + Cool place overall — Way too expensive to make it a regular thing for most

This was a fun experience surprising my husband with a barber shop visit before dinner at Linje Tio. He’s super particular about his hair and who cuts it so I really had a 50⁄50 chance it would turn out well. Johan the barber was absolutely fantastic, a true expert in his field. He gives one of the best mens hair cuts I’ve ever seen. Prior to our appointment we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the appointment just before us where trimmed up an older gentleman’s lovely white beard. Everything in the salon feels and looks authentic to the 50’s. In Los Angeles there is Floyd’s, Rudy’s and the Blind Barber(LA&NYC) which has a bar attached and are all great successes. Good to see this trend is finding it’s way around the world.
