ChezVelo

ChezVelo is a cozy bike shop tucked into a fairly busy roadway just up from the Rhine River. CV sells a gorgeous selection of European bikes (and attractive e-​bikes), high-​end bike accessories, and builds mighty fine bikes on premises from only the best parts.
There’s a wee hang out space in the front of the shop where one can chill on a sofa, read cycling literature and enjoy an espresso drink. The idea is for those coming off a long cycle journey to have a place to relax and recharge before getting back out on the road.
The CV dudes know the cycle routes around Basel and beyond, so if one is keen on receiving tips or fancies going out on a ride with the CV team, then ask ‘em!
I found the shop vibe inviting and the product stellar. If I didn’t already own a bike, then I know exactly where I’d purchase one.
