What can you really say about a McDonald’s? We all know what to expect, and that smell of the fries that hits you at the door, brings you home no matter where you are. That’s kind of where we were at after 6 days in Switzerland/France. After a few failed attempts to eat at the local restaurants with out English translation, we just needed food we knew. Ordered the Bic Mac meal and cheeseburger meal. No chocolate shakes that day, drat! A McFlurry would have to do. The fries tasted exactly the same. The burgers had a slightly different taste, but still very good, on point and hit the spot. The cheeseburger in America, well, it’s more bun than burger. Here the burger was thicker and coming out the sides! It was a nice taste of home. Tip: you have to order ketchup with your meal, it costs .20 cents a piece. They were nice enough and gave me one without charging me.
