Pizza is ok here. I just like going here cause of the décor. A carousel theme with wooden horses inside. Pretty cool.

The pizza’s are the best in Basel! The service in friendly and attentive. They are also great for takeout.

Mom/​pop-​type Italian restaurant located downstairs from a small hotel. Kitschy decorations (miniature merry-​go-​round horses everywhere), but warm and inviting. The food is not gourmet, but if you stick with the basics, you’ll be fine. Husband ordered the spaghetti bolognese, which was pure comfort food. I ordered the spaghetti with seafood. I could immediately tell that I should have gotten the bolognese. Nothing turns me off a seafood dish more than imitation crab. If you don’t have the real thing, then skip it — it won’t be missed. Trust me. I was debating between a 2 (for the fake crab) or a 3 (for the bolognese) and decided to round up as the service was very friendly and accommodating. Plus, the olives delivered at the start of our meal — gratis — were very good and a nice touch.
